A blatant missed call in overtime left Vegas fans fuming, as no penalty was called on Viktor Arvidsson, which eventually led to the Oilers winning goal.
The Vegas Golden Knights are down 2-0 in their second-round playoff series with the Edmonton Oilers, but frustration is also mounting over a controversial non-call that might have altered the course of Game 2.
Edmonton won the game in overtime, but there are plenty in the Golden Knights' camp who feel a missed penalty contributed to tipping the balance.
Well into overtime, Vegas defenseman Brayden McNabb chased a loose puck to the corner when Oilers forward Victor Arvidsson seemed to trip him up by getting his stick between McNabb's legs.
McNabb went hard into the boards, hurting his hand and arm, and didn't return. Seconds later, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl teamed up for the winning goal, and the Golden Knights were incensed.

Captain Mark Stone complained about the officiating afterward, saying most would believe the non-call made a 'massive' difference.
'It's pretty clear it's a penalty,' Golden Knights captain Mark Stone said. 'His stick is between McNabb's legs. He sends him headfirst into the boards. Pretty clear-cut penalty.''In my eyes, I think everybody's eyes, right?' Stone asked. 'That's hockey. You don't always get the calls, but it's unfortunate we might be down another D-man. That's a dirty play. We don't get the call.'
Fans didn't hold back online, some even feeling a suspension was warranted
Fans were also livid on social media, posting their feelings online as many felt this was completely unacceptable.

It was Edmonton's sixth consecutive comeback playoff victory. In the process, however, they might have taken out one of Vegas' most reliable blue-liners.
Coach Bruce Cassidy addressed McNabb's worth not only on the ice but in the dressing room as invaluable, and a well-liked teammate.
'Listen, Gord's looking at it,' Golden Knights head coach Bruce Cassidy said referring to on-ice official Gord Dwyer. 'He blew it, he missed the call. I don't know what else to say. It's a can-opener trip. It's a dangerous play. It's all those things.'
Now trailing 2-0 and possibly without a star defenseman, Vegas must regroup in a hurry. Although there is no guarantee the call would have changed the result, it cost the Golden Knights a tied series, in the eyes of many fans and analysts.
