After Kelly Clarkson announced that she had postponed her remaining August Las Vegas concerts, there was an outpouring of love and support from her fans. See what the “American Idol” winner’s fans said.
On August 6, Clarkson shared the concert postponement announcement on her Instagram account. “Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas,” she wrote.
The singer continued, “While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.”
Clarkson added, “I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding.”
The “American Idol” alum and Brandon Blackstock divorced in 2022, two years after announcing their separation. They share two children: daughter River Rose and son Remington Alexander.

Many sent well wishes about the situation, including, “We love you Kelly! Positive vibes up for you and your family” and “Sending all the love for your family.”
“We love you Kelly!! I had tickets for the first show and was there on July 4. While we were quite disappointed, I had a feeling there was more to it, and I was right,” one fan shared. “Being present for those precious kiddos is and will always be top priority. My mama heart is lifting you up, Kelly!”
Another one of her fans noted, “This right here is the REAL life of a single mom. I cannot count the people I felt I was letting down or having to cancel for so many reasons. All reasons for my son and prioritizing him. This is a real mom. I love this and hugs to you and the kiddos.”
