Former reality star Farrah Abraham is livid over the Teen Mom promo picture. She has not been a cast member since 2017, when she was fired from the series. So, what is her problem now, and does she have a reason to be angry? Keep reading for further details.

It has been eight years since Farrah Abraham was fired from Teen Mom. She started out on 16 & Pregnant with her daughter, Sophia. Unfortunately, her baby daddy died, and she had a combative relationship with her parents. Eventually, she turned to adult entertainment and had to choose between staying on MTV or doing other work. She was let go and has since remained a very public figure. Farrah always has something to say, and the way she raises her daughter has been the topic of controversy. Sophia has been allowed to get piercings since she entered her teens, and not everyone approves.
Regardless, she is happy with the choices she has made and seemingly has little to no regrets. Now, Farrah is speaking up and out about something she feels was extremely unfair. During the May 1st episode of Teen Mom, a handful of moms and their kids were flown to New York. It was to celebrate the show turning sixteen, and most of the children were the same age as their parents were when they had them. Gary and Leah Shirley attended, along with Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. Maci Bookout took Bentley Edwards, while Leah Messer accompanied her twins.
They did a People Magazine photoshoot to commemorate the occasion, but Farrah believes she was cheated. The show alum expressed her anger over being cut out of the special shoot:
“The production used to say, ‘Teen Mom family,’ but that was just narcissism to underpay teens and children, as most of the parents shown in this picture have financial issues. The picture represents how sad the franchise is today.”
She seemed very unhappy with the cast of characters that were selected to be a part of the special day.
Others Missing
Farrah Abraham was not the only Teen Mom star missing from the shoot. Chelsea Houska DeBoer was not there, nor was Kailyn Lowry. They have also left the show, more on their own accord rather than being fired, and have not said anything. Kailyn did appear on the current season to see Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Tyler Baltierra. Yet, she has moved on, as has Chelsea, and they are not hyperfixated on what the cast is doing. Some of the participating cast asked Cate and Tyler if they felt their firstborn, Carly, should have been involved in the shoot.
They stated that they did not think her adoptive parents would have allowed it, and they were okay with that. Farrah doubled down, claiming she and Carly’s parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, were far better than the cast:
“The parents who are not included in toxicity, like myself and Teresa [Davis] with Carly, are in a way better place as we all realize the parents in this photo play small.”
She further slammed the cast and boasted that she was a “widower,” which has never been the case:
“[I will] always be the G.O.A.T. who showed all teens if found in an unexpected pregnancy situation, you can overcome every struggle as I did as a widower — and came out [as] a success story. You do not need to abort or use adoption. Teens are capable, and it’s possible on your own, even with dysfunction as I had. I’m grateful when supporters of the show come up and tell me this.”
