Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham and her 16-year-old daughter Sophia Abraham shared a rare glimpse into their family’s Caribbean cruise vacation.
Sophia Abraham is having a girls’ summer.
Teen Mom alum Farrah Abraham’s 16-year-old daughter recently enjoyed a family vacation aboard a Caribbean cruise—and she took the opportunity to share some rare photos of their tropical adventures.
In a June 8 joint Instagram post, the mother-daughter duo shared a series of pics that showed the teen posing on the bow of a small boat in an all-black ensemble, testing the waters with some scuba diving, exploring the cruise ship, kayaking in the open waters and even making friends with a couple of raccoons.
In the last photo, Farrah—whose pre-cruise celebrations included reconnecting with former rival Jenelle Evans—also made an appearance, posing in front of a decadent dessert with a sparkler candle sticking out of it to commemorate her 34th birthday a few days prior.
And because the photo dump perfectly captured the essence of their fun-filled vacation, Sophia added the simple caption, “feels like summer againnn.”
This rare glimpse into Farrah—who shares Sophia with her late ex Derek Underwood—and her daughter’s sweet bond comes nearly a year after the two celebrated one of the teen’s biggest milestones: becoming a licensed driver.
At the time, the 34-year-old had shared a wholesome video in which she and her daughter—who donned half purple and half black hair, facial piercings and black lipstick—engaged in “parent-taught driver’s ed.”
“I’m sure she can do this,” Farrah declared of Sophia in the August 2024 video before helping her only child adjust her position in the driver’s seat. “This is what 15 and learning driver’s ed looks like.”
And when the reality star asked her daughter, “What would count as a distraction in the car?” Her daughter quipped, “You.”
But all jokes aside, when it comes to their sweet bond, Farrah can’t help but gush about the woman her daughter has grown up to become.
"I am beyond proud of my daughter,” she told People in March, weeks after Sophia’s 16th birthday. “And now I look back and I'm like, 'Oh my God, why did my parents let me do crazy stuff?' Because my daughter's just so calm, not traumatized, and it's just a beautiful thing."
And though Farrah still has “nothing to regret” about welcoming her Sophia when she was just 17 years old, she doesn’t foresee her daughter following in her footsteps.
“She doesn't rush her relationships," Farrah explained. "She doesn't get lost in a fantasy of relationships at her age. She dates long-distance. We fly, they fly in, they're all homeschooled and it's just so peaceful."
