For the third season's finale, Fire Country has something massive planned. First, the finale is two hours long, airing on CBS on Friday, April 25, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET. Split into two parts, the finale follows a fire emergency that worsens as the weather deteriorates. "When a fire erupts at a gas station, Bode (Max Thieriot) and Manny (Kevin Alejandro) jump into action to protect the patrons and property," reads the logline for the first part. In the second, the fire shifts across Edgewater and heads to Bode's grandfather's facility. "Extremely high winds and dangerous conditions push the Zebel Ridge fire into Edgewater, threatening Three Rock and Walter’s (Jeff Fahey) care facility," reads the logline for the second part. CBS released a sneak peek of the season finale, previewing the fire's personal turn as it threatens Bode's loved ones.

The video below puts viewers right in the middle of the action as Buena Vista Medical Center is engulfed in flames. The facility has been a tough place for Vince (Billy Burke) to visit, given his father's declining mental faculties, but now, there is no option. Cal Fire and Station 42 respond to the emergency like any other. However, things worsen when the building's structural integrity is compromised with the firefighters inside. Bode is beside himself in destitution as he watches it come down with his entire family trapped there. What will he do?

What to Expect in the 'Fire Country' Season 3 Finale

The fire emergency is the main allure of the finale. Theriot told TV Line that it "has certainly some of the biggest practical action that we’ve done, and the scope of those sequences is pretty massive." Meanwhile, several characters are dealing with some developments in their lives. Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila) learned that Finn (Blake Lee) had an unhealthy obsession with her, and after he ran away, he still remains a danger to her. "I don’t think she knows the severity, the extreme of it. I think she’s being very cautious about everything, but I don’t think she knows what’s coming," Arcila told TV Insider about this arc. Still, Station 42 is set to lose a member as Jake (Jordan Calloway) considers taking an open position elsewhere. What is coming for Gabriela? Will Jake leave the station he's called home for a long time?
