The Flyers' starter for their contest against the Hurricanes has been announced.
The Philadelphia Flyers return to the ice on Wednesday (Nov. 20) to face off against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Hurricanes will be a big test for the Flyers, as they currently have a 13-4-0 record and have won eight out of their last 10 games.
For this matchup against the Hurricanes, the Flyers will be going with Ivan Fedotov as their starting goalie.
Fedotov, 27, will look to stay hot in his start against the Canes. The 2015 seventh-round pick has been playing wonderfully for the Flyers as of late, as he has won each of his last three appearances. In his last start against the Buffalo Sabres, he stopped 23 out of 25 shots.
Fedotov has appeared in six games this season with the Flyers, where he has a 3-3-0 record, a 3.64 goals-against average, and a .871 save percentage.
