This Flyers star is playing at a whole new level.
The Philadelphia Flyers picked up a big 5-2 win against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday (Nov. 16). With this, they now have an 8-8-2 record and have won three straight games.
A big reason for the Flyers' recent success has been the play of Travis Konecny. The 27-year-old forward has picked up his game immensely since his slow start to the campaign.
Konecny extended his ongoing point streak to six games against the Sabres, as he had two goals and an assist on the night. Over that span, he has six goals and 12 points.
Konency has been dominating since before his current point streak, too, as he has 19 points over his previous 12 games. This is an incredible production from the 2015 first-round pick.
Konecny is hitting a brand new level offensively this season, and he is well on his way to having a monster campaign because of it. It will be fascinating to see how he builds on his impressive play, but right now, he looks unstoppable.
