Former 'DWTS' Pro Reveals She's 'Ready To Go Back' For Season 34 originally appeared on Parade.

Peta Murgatroyd is ready to get back in the ballroom.

The former Dancing With The Stars professional dancer told Us Weekly that she's ready for another shot at the mirrorball trophy after welcoming her third child last year.

“Right now, I do feel like I have a bit of a weight lifted off my shoulders. I’ve gotten through that first newborn stage again. So I feel like I would be ready to go back,” Murgatroyd, 38, said. “I love the show. I love what it’s about. I love training people [and] teaching them how to dance. I love the performance aspect of it."

"If [Dancing With The Stars] did come to me and want me back, I would say yes.” she added.

Murgatroyd previously won the show in seasons 14 and 22 with partners Donald Driver and Nyle DiMarco, respectively. Her last appearance on the show was during season 32 which aired in 2023.

She's married to fellow former DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy and the couple share three sons: Shai, 8, Rio, 1, and Milan, 11 months. She admitted that she decides whether or not the show’s schedule works for their family on a season-by-season basis, and considers the possibility that her husband may want to return, too.

“Of course it would be better if one person was around but we would probably have different schedules — I would maybe be a 9 to 1, he would be a 1 to 5. So we could kind of tag team it like that,” Murgatroyd explained, adding that they have a full-time nanny who helps care for the children.

Ultimately, if Murgatroyd is asked back, the decision will come down to whether or not she can fully commit to the grueling, three-month competition in addition to parenting.
