Former Fourtһ Overаll Pіck Could Be On tһe Move For Hіgһ Drаft Pіck

Kyle Pitts has been a rollercoaster since coming into the league and could be on a new team come draft day.

Coming out of Florida in 2021, there was huge expectations for the highest-drafted tight end in NFL history, only for Pitts to have 10 career touchdowns after four seasons. Ja'Marr Chase, who was the pick after, has 46 touchdowns in the same amount of time. Pitts did have a Pro Bowl appearance as a rookie, but after that 1,026-yard season, his production would go down through Arthur Smith's tenure as head coach.

Raheem Morris utilized Pitts as a receiver more and he would have a career-high 4 touchdowns last season. Three out of his four seasons he would play every game and would take back seats to different receivers and the run game with Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier having great seasons.

Pitts was on the trade block throughout the season, with multiple reports of him potentially being traded coming out. Recent reports coming out are saying the New York Jets could be a possible destination, as well as the Indianapolis Colts or the Denver Broncos. Young up-and-coming AFC teams looking for a star tight end could be the move for someone like Pitts, who is still only 24 years old.

One proposal includes Pitts, the 15th overall pick and a third-rounder in 2026 for the seventh pick in this year's draft, which could be a monumental selection for the Falcons. Jumping eight picks and moving on from Pitts could help the Falcons focus more on the run game and get a good defensive pick.

There is a high chance that Kyle Pitts will be on a new team and potentially a new conference by the start of next season. It would be the end of a Falcons tenure that has not been fourth-pick worthy after four seasons.
