Former Raiders RB Josh Jacobs may have just upset even more fans with comments about Davante Adams

The Las Vegas Raiders did not bring back running back Josh Jacobs this offseason after giving him a one-year deal last offseason. We knew he wanted to be back because that's what he said. But, when it didn't happen, it's what he didn't do that pissed the fan base off.

Former Raiders RB Josh Jacobs may have just upset even more fans with comments about Davante Adams

Jacobs, who spent six years with the Raiders and is pretty high up on the franchise's all-time list of rushers, did not say goodbye to the team or the fan base on social media. That may not seem like a big deal today, but it is for the fans.

Jacobs then signed with the Green Bay Packers and has since had a few Twitter exchanges with Raiders fans and content creators. The fans have since dubbed that Jacobs is now just trying to make the Raiders fan base mad.

I can't say that is what he is trying to do because I haven't heard him say that, and I don't know what he is thinking. But that narrative that the fan base has spun certainly isn't going away anytime soon now that Jacobs said what he recently did.

"When I came out here [Green Bay]... I sent him [Davante Adam] the little eyes emoji," Jacobs said via The Athletic. "I said, 'You thinking about coming back?' But man, he loved it."

That has to piss off Raiders fans. I'm not saying Jacobs did that intentionally for that reason, but you can't deny he doesn't know what he is doing and the reaction it will get. Luckily, Adams has said there is no other place or team he would rather be in the world than the Raiders, the team he grew up rooting for in northern California.

The Raiders now have Zamir White and Alexander Mattison as a dynamic 1-2 punch, and it's much cheaper.
