Dominic Moore will be a part of the Utah Hockey Club's television broadcast team.
Former New York Rangers forward Dominic Moore is now with the Utah Hockey Club, but not as a player.
Moore is joining the Hockey Club for their inaugural season as part of the television broadcast team and he couldn’t be more thrilled about the opportunity.
“It’s a really special thing to be a part of,” Moore said. “The opportunity to be a part of that, to be one of the front-facing figures to unite the team with the community and be on the air every night and bring the game to a new group of fans is an opportunity I could not pass up.
“Being a part of the first of a franchise is something truly, truly special. I think all of us can say when Vegas and Seattle came into the League in recent years, I think everyone saw the excitement that went along with that, and the passion of the community to receive their new team. It’s the same thing happening here in Utah.”
Moore played with the Rangers for five seasons through two different stints as he recorded 31 goals, 50 assists and 81 points in 322 games.
Since his retirement from the NHL in 2018, Moore has transitioned to television. Over the past three years, Moore has been a hockey analyst for ESPN and NBC where he’s been on air.
The Rangers’ home opener on Oct. 12 will be against the Hockey Club, so we’ll see Moore back at Madison Square Garden for this highly anticipated game.
