Former ‘Real Housewives’ Star Celebrates Business Success a Year After Being Fired
“The Real Housewives of Potomac” has had several cast changes over the years. One of the most notable happened in 2024 when Robyn Dixon announced that the network had not invited her back to the series for season 9. Now, more than a year later, she’s celebrating success in business as she also continues hosting her podcast with her former RHOP co-star, Gizelle Bryant.
Robyn Dixon recently took to her Instagram account to share that she’s had an open house for her Glo30 business. She did so by sharing several pictures of the event, which former “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Charrisse Jackson and several others attended.
The post also includes shots of the GLO30 skincare studio as well as some people who appear to be employees at the business. Robyn Dixon said in the caption, “Thank you to everyone who came out to our Open House at @glo30columbia_crossing ! 🥰🥰🥰 It was a huge success! We enjoyed seeing and meeting all of your lovely.”
Robyn Dixon Announced Her Exit From ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ in 2024
Robyn Dixon joined “The Real Housewives of Potomac” for its first season in 2016. During her time on the show, fans got an inside look at both her family life with Juan Dixon as well as her close friendship with Gizelle Bryant.
However, according to Deadline, she announced in April of 2024 that she would not be returning for season 9. She said on her “Reasonably Shady” podcast with Gizelle Bryant, “Yes, I will not be returning to season nine of The Real Housewives of Potomac.”
Robyn Dixon then said, “It’s reality. The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words. I will not sugarcoat the situation and say, ‘Oh, I am walking away and this is a break’ or anything like this. This is a network decision.”
She added, “I’m OK with it because nothing lasts forever. I’ve had a very long run on the show, and I just really appreciate that time and the opportunity that I had on the show. Thank you to the fans who’ve watched us from day 1.”
Robyn Dixon concluded her announcement with, “I do want to especially thank all of the fans and viewers who have supported me, showed loved to me. Whether you directly sent me love, or you prayed for me, or you have positive energy or positive thoughts around me, I appreciate you. And I hope I inspired you, the viewers, the fans, to live your life authentically. To not feel pressure to change for anyone, or impress people, and just to be yourself.”
She Started Her Business In 2024
According to Bravo, Robyn Dixon started her GLO30 location in October 2024. She recently said in an interview, “It’s a membership-based skincare studio. We do monthly facials and Botox and laser and all that good stuff.” The business is located in Columbia, Maryland.
Regarding the future of the business, Robyn Dixon stated, “I would love to expand to multiple locations, more locations, but right now, we’re working on just growing organically and scaling the business. But I am an entrepreneur at heart, and so, for me, this is really just the beginning.”
