Former ‘RHOBH’ Star Expecting 8th Child

Kelsey Grammer is expanding his family once again. The 70-year-old Emmy-award winning actor and former “Frasier” star is expecting his eighth child—his fourth with wife Kayte Walsh, 46—according to a report from the Daily Mail.

“Kelsey is thrilled to finally have time to fully enjoy being a father all over again,” a source told the outlet. “He’s been incredibly supportive of Kayte throughout this pregnancy, which, though unexpected, has reignited a spark in their marriage that they both needed.”

A New Chapter for the “Frasier” Star

The couple were photographed out for a stroll in London earlier this week alongside their three children: Faith, 12, Gabriel, 10, and James, 8. In the images, Walsh wore a flowing navy blue dress that showed off a visible baby bump as the family appeared relaxed and smiling.

According to People, Grammer and Walsh met in 2009 while she was working as a flight attendant. The couple married in 2011 in New York City and have embraced a quieter life focused on raising their young children.

In 2012, Grammer opened up about the start of their relationship during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, saying, “We went out for coffee several days later and had this magical night in the snow in London around Christmastime.”

Before marrying Walsh, Grammer was married to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Camille Grammer. The former couple, who tied the knot in 1997, share two children: daughter Mason, 23, and son Jude, 20. Their highly publicized split unfolded during Grammer’s run on the franchise, drawing intense media attention. The divorce was finalized in 2011, with Camille receiving a $30 million settlement, as reported by People.

Grammer also has four other children from previous relationships, including daughter Spencer, 41, with his first wife Doreen Alderman, and daughter Greer, 33, with ex-girlfriend Barrie Buckner.

The actor has been candid about the challenges of balancing fatherhood and fame. In a 2018 interview with The Guardian, he reflected, “I regretted … earlier in [my] life” being so “busy” with work that his family life “suffered.”

He later told People in 2022 that he had mended his “hot and cold” relationship with Spencer and described the process as healing. “Honestly, the beauty of being an older dad is you get a chance to kinda try it again. That’s been a real gift,” Grammer said.

The actor’s rep has not yet commented on the pregnancy. However, the news marks a joyful milestone in Grammer’s personal life as he moves into a new phase of parenting—with a larger family than ever before.
