An original co-host from “The View” is in talks to join the 15th season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
During an interview with Sirius XM’s “Page Six Radio,” “The View” alum Debbie Matenopoulos confirmed that she is in talks to join the Bravo reality show after being approached repeatedly by the franchise.
“I mean, don’t you think I’m already an oversharer, I need these people in my own home?” Matenopoulos, 50, cracked on the radio show. “I don’t even know if I’m allowed to say this.”
“Well, yes, I am currently talking to them,” she added of meetings with Bravo executives. “And when I say currently, I mean currently.”
The 14th season of RHOBH starred Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Garcelle Beauvais , Sutton Stracke, Bozoma Saint John and “friends” Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton.
Debbie Matenopoulos Previously Said She Was Approached by Bravo
In 2023, Matenopoulos appeared on the “Behind the Velvet Rope” podcast and revealed she had been approached to join RHOBH.
“I have [been asked] many times,” she told Yontef. “And it’s interesting because every time I go, ‘I don’t know, maybe I would, maybe,’ and then I think about it, and I think about it, and it’s like, ‘okay yeah maybe I’ll do it maybe I’ll do it.’ And then I just think, oh they’re gonna forget, they’ll forget, they won’t call me back, they’ll forget.”
“Up until now, I have been too busy,” she admitted at the time. “So I feel like that was the universe telling me no.”
Matenopoulos also expressed concern over inviting cameras to follow her life, but noted she has developed a “thick” skin from her many years on live television.
In 1999, Matenopoulos was let go from “The View” after two seasons, after the network determined that viewers couldn’t “relate to her.”
1 RHOBH Star Said She Wants to See Some ‘New Blood’ For Season 15

Matenpoulos’ RHOBH teaser comes days after longtime cast member Erika Jayne told Pride she hopes to see some new women on the show to shake up the dynamic.
“I think that it’s someone brand new!” the ‘Pretty Mess” singer said of her vision for the show. “I think new blood is always good. Look at Boz [Saint John], she’s been a great addition. I think someone else new shakes up the friend group a bit. I would give anything for that.”
The casting chatter comes weeks after Beauvais announced she was exiting RHOBH after five seasons. “I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills,” Beauvais told fans in an Instagram video. “It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have happened. But it’s been a ride nevertheless.”
Bravo does not confirm casting rumors, and no date has been set for “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” to resume production.
