The Real Housewives of New Jersey ex-husband appeared on Melissa Gorga's podcast, On Display, on March 6, where he confirmed that he and Brittany tied the knot late last year, around the time that they were set to get married before delaying their big day. The couple had previously postponed their November wedding after weather devastated Florida, where their wedding was set to be held.  "We were married, but we're married off the chart," Frank explained to Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, during the podcast episode this week.

While they may already be married, Frank admitted on the podcast that he and Brittany would no longer be getting married (again in a formal ceremony) in Florida because the weather is so unpredictable. "We're going to have it up here now," he told Melissa and Joe, referring to New Jersey. "I can't put Brittany through that again."

Frank shared that he doesn't know when they're having their New Jersey ceremony and admitted that it would happen sometime this year. "We don't have it. We don't have a date. But we're doing it up here," he confirmed. "We're not doing it destination. So we had enough of the weather. Mother nature just didn't change."

Why Frank Catania and Brittany Mattessich postponed their first wedding

The couple were originally set to walk down the aisle in Captiva Island, Florida on Nov. 9, 2024, according to People, but had to push their date back due to back-to-back hurricanes which swept through the island and caused devastation to their venue. "Even though there was a possibility that the venue could have possibly been repaired for our wedding on Nov. 9, no work commenced because Hurricane Milton was coming the following week," it was revealed at that time.

The couple decided on a new wedding date in late March 2025, so the venue had plenty of time to recover, before cancelling it altogether. Frank admitted that Brittany took the news well.

"She would much rather reschedule for another date that was not in the hurricane season and would also give the resort enough time to repair the resort back to perfect," he said. "Also we did not want to see our family and guests be inconvenienced in any way because of the damage. We wanted it to be a happy and fun time for everyone without anxiety or worrying."

In a Dec. 2024 interview with The Daily Dish, Dolores revealed that she was eager for Frank to get married after the postponement. "I did help them [for] a while with their wedding plans, but it was postponed because of the storm, one of the hurricanes. They got hammered," she said. "Frank's wedding was gonna be the first one up and running and then it got smashed again, so now we're going to do it on March 29th."
