From Seduction to Stabbings: Y&R’s Wildest Week Yet!

If you thought things might slow down in Genoa City, think again! The Young and the Restless  served up twist after twist from July 21–25. From another life-and-death stabbing to catching a killer, the action was HOT all week long!

Not Today, Satan!

Our boy Kyle (Michael Mealor) held his own when Audra (Zuleyka Silver) turned on her seductive charms on Monday. While she thought she had him right where she wanted him and was all but ready to slip between the sheets, Kyle shut her down. Not only that, but he called her out, too! “I’m onto you,” he announced while he was on top of her (and still in a towel!) and oh, did that feel like sweet justice.

Things did take a funny turn though when Kyle didn’t just accuse Audra of playing love games, but of using Damian’s murder to woo him. If she had pearls to clutch, she would have. How dare he accuse her of such a thing! She swore up and down this was the real deal but Kyle saw right though her. Is it only a matter of time before he realizes the TRUE reason why Audra is batting those gorgeous lashes his way?

Arrested & Attacked

Nick (Joshua Morrow) has had one heck of a week. As if being set up for a murder wasn’t enough, the butler arrested him and threw him in the dungeon! Thankfully, he wasn’t alone and Sharon (Sharon Case) was put in there with him. After some flirting and reminiscing, the two got to work on Wednesday to attempt a great escape. Sadly, that went all the way sideways and instead of running, Nick ended up stabbed by one of the estates hired goons.

Who knew Sally (Courtney Hope) would be Nick’s saving grace. Also, who knew Sally was basically a professional when it came to first aid? It’s a good thing she has those skills or by Friday, we may not have had Nick around anymore.

It Was The Butler!

Were we shocked when Cane (Billy Flynn) realized his butler was a shady killer? A little bit. While we suspected the estate manager of dubious actions, Cane seemed to like standing by his right-hand man. Those scenes between Cane and Carter on Friday had us on the edge of our seats! Talk about a showdown.

While Carter didn’t exactly admit he stabbed Damian and gave the green-light for Nick’s near slaying, he didn’t deny it either. We can’t wait to see where this is going to go. Will Carter realize he’s caught and surrender or will he do something even more shocking? The upcoming spoilers tease we haven’t seen the worst this man can do just yet!
