Furious Aaron Boone ejected for arguing after Aaron Judge strikeout, failed home run challenge

It took 22 games, but Aaron Boone finally has his first ejection of the season.

The Yankees manager was tossed in the eighth inning of Sunday’s game against the Rays after Aaron Judge was called out on strikes.

The frustrations began boiling one pitch earlier, though, when Judge appeared to crush a home run down the left field line, only to have it called foul by third-base umpire Scott Barry.

The Yankees challenged it, but upon replay review, the call on the field stood.

Judge was then called out looking at strike three on the next pitch, which he did not agree with, and Boone popped out of the dugout to argue.
