Gemma Atkinson has admitted she was both 'proud and sad' as she made an admission about being a parent as her daughter reached a new milestone.
The Hits Radio host has recently been enjoying the half-term break with five-year-old Mia, and her one-year-old younger brother, Thiago, both of whom Gemma shares with her dancer fiance Gorka Marquez.
As fans of the couple will know, Gemma and Gorka met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, when they were competing in the BBC One dance contest with different partners, before love blossomed early the following year on the show's popular tour.
The pair often keep their loyal following updated on their family life on social media and during the last day off before heading back to school, Gemma and Gorka were seen upping Mia's confidence on her back, to the point where she didn't want her dad's help.
Sharing a video of them practising on a field, Gemma wrote on her Instagram Story: "Bike practice," alongside a face holding back tears emoji.
She then followed up the post with another video, shared with her 2.1 million followers, in which Mia could be seen picking up speed on her adorable pink bike, complete with whikker basket on the front.
Alongside the video, Gemma wrote: "'I can do it Papa, let go'. Makes me bother proud and sad. Teaching your child to live without you is both a joy and a hardship isn't it?" before adding another face holding back tears emoji and red heart icon.

It comes after Gemma recently told fans to 'stay tuned' as she teased what appears to be a new project with Gorka. Last month, she revealed that she and Gorka are getting back in front of the camera in a post shared on her Instagram Story.
She posted a video to her millions of followers in which she could be seen sitting in the living room of her Greater Manchester home behind a mic with cameras and monitors around her.
Gorka soon game walking into shot and while it isn't quite clear what they're up to, Gemma wrote: "So this is exciting... Stay tuned [eyes emoji]."
The tease came after Gemma revealed that there were no plans for her and Gorka to commit to another series of their reality show, Gemma & Gorka: Behind the Lens.
They took part in two series and the show followed their experiences as they navigate parenthood, work, and their relationship, offering an unfiltered look into their lives, including the challenges and joys of raising two children.
A spokesperson for UKTV - which owns U&W, the channel the pair's series aired on - previously said: 'It's been a privilege to make two series of Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind the Lens with Two Rivers Media.
"Gemma and Gorka are both very busy with other projects at the moment, so at this time, there are no current plans for another series, but we look forward to working with them again soon."
