Gorka competed in the 2024 run of the BBC One dance contest with Morning Live star Dr Punam Krishan
Gemma Atkinson has given her hilariously honest input on Gorka Marquez's next Strictly Come Dancing partner as fans await news of the professional dancer line-up for 2025.
As fans will know, Gorka competed in the 2024 run of the BBC One dance contest with practising GP and Morning Live star Dr Punam Krishan.
Punam was based in Glasgow and Gorka temporarily moved to Scotland while they competed in Strictly's 2024 series, while also travelling to London each weekend for live programmes each week.
After making history with the first Bollywood routine ever since in the Strictly ballroom, Gorka and Punam were seen exiting from the competition during the Halloween special weekend in October.
They later returned for the final of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series in December, which saw Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell crowned the series champions, as the class of 2024 reunited for one last joyous performance to round of the latest run of dancing action.
While it's not clear which of the pro dancers will be returning for the 2025 edition of the hit dance show, Gemma has been quizzed on the idea that her fiance will be back in the ballroom later this year.
The Hits Radio host implored her followers to ask her some questions this week having not taken part in and Instagram Q&A for a while. She was quizzed on everything from family life to her career and fitness, as well as her other half.
One of her followers said: "Who would you choose as Gorka's next Strictly partner?" to which she brilliantly responded with a map that showed Manchester picked out in bold and said: "Anyone who leaves here," adding a red arrow to point to the city where they live with their children.
During the same Q&A, Gemma said she 'feels married' already to Gorka as she offered an update on their wedding plans and revealed they're looking at a second home abroad.

The former soap star and the professional dancer fell in love in the Strictly ballroom back in 2017. The loved-up couple recently celebrated their seventh anniversary went 'official' with their relationship in early 2018 after competing in the BBC One dance contest.
They were paired with different partners, with Gemma making the final alongside pro dancer Aljaz Skorjanec while Gorka also made it to the end of the competition with celebrity dance partner Alexanda Burke.
The actress and presenter and the Spanish professional dancer later got engaged in 2021 and are now proud parents to two children - daughter Mia, five, and one-year-old son Thiago.
But the couple are yet to officially tie the knot and Gemma has offered an update on their wedding plans in a new Q&A with her online followers.
Sharing a throwback snap of herself and Gorka, Gemma wrote in response: "Possibly next year... We've been back and forth about registry offices/going to Spain.
"None of us want a big fuss or lots of guests so we may just go and do it with just family and come back and have a huge party! I've never wanted a big white wedding. More than happy with a lovely small one [red heart emoji]. We feel married anyway."
