General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal the late actor Johnny Wactor, who portrayed Brando Corbin in the ABC soap, made a movie before he died.

Wactor Was Murdered While Protecting A Co-Worker In May 2024
Johnny was shot while defending a colleague from robbers in May 2024. “It’s crucial for me and his family that his legacy continues, reflecting the amazing contributions he made to the world,” said Micah Joe Parker, a fellow actor and friend, in an interview.
Parker characterized the film to the outlet, emphasizing its themes of family, friendship, and love, which he feels are closely linked to the life of his late best friend.
Wactor was employed at Level 8, a rooftop bar, and was departing work with his colleague, Anita Joy, in the early hours of May 25 last year when the tragic incident occurred. He was escorting her to her car when he came upon a gang of thieves trying to steal the vehicle’s catalytic converter.
Employees Had Been Complaining About Lack Of Employee Parking For Months
In a past interview with the Daily Mail, Joy mentioned that staff had been voicing their complaints for months about the insufficient parking available to them, but their worries were ignored.
Scarlett Wactor, Wactor’s mother, stated that her son had shielded Joy in his last moments. “They were heading to their car, and when they arrived, Johnny’s car, which was in front of the co-worker’s, appeared to be tilted to one side. From what I gather, he asked, ‘Hey, man, are you towing my car?’… The person looked up wearing a mask, and I suppose he realized they weren’t doing that, so he stepped in front of the co-worker. Then backed up and raised his hands, and the person shot him,” Scarlett Wactor had previously told Fox News Digital.
Johnny Was Heroic, No Problems Stepping Into Danger
“He had no issue entering the conflict,” Parker repeated “That’s how he left this world, stepping in front of his friend to take a bullet’. When that happened I said, I’ll take the hits for him now.” -in the days after the murder, Joy also revealed painful details about the circumstances surrounding his death on her Instagram. “I’ve needed some time to gather my thoughts and emotions. I was with Johnny in his final moments, and I’m here to be his voice after such unfathomable events,” she wrote.
“He was killed senselessly by a coward who acted without regard for the beautiful life he was ending,” she stated in her post. “I’m furious, I’m heartbroken, and I feel everything at once, but most importantly, I am here for Johnny’s justice.”
Perps Were Arrested Three Months After Wactor’s Murder
Almost three months after Wactor’s murder, police took four suspected members of the Florencia 13 gang into custody related to his killing. “Johnny was a victim,” Parker stated; “He was a victim of this crime, but he lived his life as anything but a victim. He was a doer, he was a dreamer, so, that’s where we’re turning the page now.” was most recognized for his role as Brando Corbin in 164 episodes of “General Hospital” from 2020 to 2022. ‘Ciao, Mama’ pays tribute to Wactor’s life and is seen as a touching homage to friendship and the human spirit, according to news reports.
