General Hospital Fans Are Loving “Crazy Willow”

Willow has taken quite the turn…and fans have A LOT to say!

General Hospital Willow

General Hospital actress Katelyn MacMullen is knocking it out of the park lately. Fans are loving her portrayal of the crazy side of Willow.

Weeping Willow

Until recently, Willow has been almost boring. She was always the nice girl who everyone liked. After discovering her own son had died, she became Wiley’s (Viron Weaver) adoptive mom. She wasn’t blamed when she cheated on Chase (Josh Swickard) with Michael (Rory Gibson) and went on to marry him.

She lied to her husband when she withheld her cancer diagnosis while she was pregnant, but everyone felt sorry for her. Then we had months on end watching her get sicker and sicker. She almost died, but then half of Port Charles traveled to Greenland to rescue Liesl (Kathleen Gati) so that she could donate her bone marrow and save her. Fans gave her the nickname “Weeping Willow” because the character was constantly sad and crying.

Crazy Willow

The character is still teary often, but something is different. She is not just melancholy; she seems to be having a breakdown. After months on end of Willow being Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) puppet, she finally realized how awful her almost-husband really is. The only problem is that she ruined her life in the process. Her marriage is over, and she lost custody of her children.

Wiley and Amelia’s mom is unraveling. First, she tortured Sasha (ex-Sofia Mattsson) by stalking her baby, and then she showed up on Carly’s (Laura Wright) doorstep looking like the Bride of Frankenstein, begging to see her kids. Now that Michael is refusing her access to her children, more craziness will undoubtedly come out. She is bound to do something to get even with her ex and his family.

This new version of Willow may be unhinged, but it is fun to watch. We don’t know what she will do next, and we can’t wait to see it. Fans are predicting she ends up in Ferncliff, or even Shadybrook. Do you like the new version of Willow? Let us know in the comments section.
