ITV has not yet announced an official start date for the 12th series of the popular show. However, based on previous seasons which typically premiered in early June - last year's edition kicked off on June 3 - viewers are speculating that the show will make its comeback either on June 2 or June 9.

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that a Michael Corinthos (last played by Chad Duell) recast may say four shocking words and blow up Port Charles. Social media leaks point to a Michael recast being underway, so it’s just a matter of time until he heads home fully recovered with a brand-new face.

Of course, this could offer an opportunity to shift Michael’s attitude as well. Michael might return with more of a backbone and decide he’s not going to cower in fear when it comes to a potential custody fight.
