General Hospital recaps for Thursday July 18 reveal Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) thanks Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for stepping up, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) asks questions.

Also, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) spots Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in a WSB op, and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) thinks there’s something wrong with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Robert Thanks Jason For Stepping Up For His Girls

Robert greets Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), Daisy Gilmore (Evelyn and Brenden Beimford), and Jason at his and Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) home.

She takes the baby to change her diaper and reminds the men to behave-Jason offers to take his leave. Robert expresses his gratitude; years ago, Jason was there for Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) and now, he’s supporting his other daughter, and he feels thankful.

Jason shares his pride in Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) for allowing Sasha to leave; Sasha comes back, relieved to see that no fights occurred; Daisy is asleep.

Jason mentions he has a flight to catch-Sasha escorts him out, and Robert wishes him a safe journey.

 

Sasha And Jason Talk A Bit More Outside

Outside, Sasha confides in Jason that she no longer feels afraid; he expresses his relief, affirming that she is a wonderful mother.

 

Overcome with emotion, she admits it feels as though she’s parting with a security blanket. He reassures her that everything will be alright, and she gives him a gentle kiss on the cheek as a farewell.

Sasha then goes back to Robert, sharing how significant it was for her to recognize that she has a father to rely on in times of need. She brings the baby in to introduce her, and they share a conversation about how adorable she is.

Anna Asks Questions

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) visits Anna in her office, and the chief probes her about Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and Josslyn’s relationship.

Carly mentions that he and Joss have only met a few times and experienced a public break-up; however, from Anna’s perspective, it doesn’t seem finished.

She shares that Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) is part of this situation, and her instincts are raising red flags; Anna recounts how she interrupted Emma’s date and witnessed Vaughn reuniting with Joss.

 

Emma appeared unfazed; Carly is puzzled about the purpose of this discussion. She is aware that her daughter is still mourning Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

Anna Continues Her Discussion With Carly

Anna says she’s looking for an outlet since her fixation of proving Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) killed him; that’s news to Carly.

At least Cyrus is presumed dead, she assumes that Joss is just throwing herself into something with Vaughn as a distraction. Carly mentions the last-minute Easter Island trip and how much she seemed changed after coming back.

 

Anna points out that’s around the time she started seeing Vaughn, and Carly wonders if there is something she should be worried about. She knows that approaching Joss will only make her dig her heels in.

Dante Spots Josslyn On A WSB Op, Jason Thinks He Sees Britt

Vaughn and Joss arrive at the airport to intercept the courier; he instructs her to take her position-meanwhile, Dante is monitoring the surveillance footage and spots Vaughn and Joss.

 

He starts to question their intentions-when the woman checks in, Vaughn accidentally collides with her; while he flirts, Joss discreetly walks by and slips a tracker into her bag.

The woman then boards her flight-Vaughn and Joss take a seat and examine the tracker, discovering she’s en route to France.

Dante contacts Anna, mentioning that Vaughn appears to be a typical WSB agent; he’s collaborating with Joss.

Later, as Jason waits at the airport in Paris, he is taken aback when a woman resembling Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) walks past him to catch her flight.

Obrecht’s Family Reunion

At Crimson, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is excited to see Obrecht; Liesl believes she needs her because Willow’s life is in turmoil-Willow arrives just in time to overhear this.

Obrecht knows all about her divorce and losing custody, she questions how a caring mother could let that happen. Willow blames Michael, saying he has changed and that she has developed feelings for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison); Michael is punishing her for this.

Obrecht suggests that she probably should have waited until her marriage ended before getting involved with Drew. They discuss how poorly things went in court, and Willow expresses frustration that the court did not treat them fairly.

Nina then reveals that Sasha has left the country with Daisy, but reassures Willow that Michael is staying behind with the other children.

Obrecht Thinks There’s Something Wrong With Willow

Nina mentions that there have been threats made against the baby, and Obrecht finds that disgusting-in the meantime Willow pours herself some water, then turns away with a smirk.

She needs to get to work and hugs her mom, expressing how much of a comfort she has been. Once she leaves, Obrecht slams the door and states that something is very wrong with Willow-she noticed her ‘devilish smile;’ Nina observes that Willow has changed since losing the children.

 

Obrecht believes she is being reckless-Nina holds Drew responsible for that, and Liesl insists they must cut that connection immediately; Nina fears she might lose her daughter.

She confesses it makes her uncomfortable to see Willow and Drew together. Liesl is convinced he has a secret they can use to their advantage; Nina agrees.

Portia’s Had Enough

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) storms into Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) office and insists that this must stop immediately.

 

After that, Drew will have no leverage over them-she plans to go to the medical board to admit her actions and face the consequences.

She risks losing her license and he reminds her that there could also be legal repercussions. Portia believes it would be worth it to be free from Drew’s control; she clarifies that Drew wants her to accuse Michael of being addicted to opioids.

This has to end, she cannot compromise her medical ethics again; Curtis argues that she only did what was necessary in the past.

Portia Is Taking Her Power Back

She expresses that she feels drained and is finished with it; “I am not his servant! I am reclaiming my strength. Drew Cain can go to hell!” she states.

He is concerned about her jeopardizing her career and the impact it may have on Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). She will hold herself responsible for this, and Portia realizes that she could end up in prison.

She voices that this entire situation is overwhelming and she needs to discover a way to live with herself- she refuses to compromise her identity for Drew.

He believes she is extraordinary but advises her to be careful about her actions; she cannot retract a confession made to the medical board.
