Anna And Jordan Talk About Curtis And Portia

In Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office, she and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) discuss Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

Anna encourages Jordan to have an open and honest discussion with Curtis. However, Jordan is uncertain if she can be around him at this moment.

Anna Takes Turner To Task

Once Jordan departs, Anna retrieves a file and immediately contacts Turner, insisting they need to have a conversation right away, intending to take her to task.

Upon Turner’s arrival, Anna shows her the file, and clarifies that the case file was intended for Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), and she was left out of the loop.

They engage in a heated discussion about the reasons behind this exclusion, and Anna asserts that if Turner has an issue with her, she should address it with internal affairs.

Anna reiterates Turner can’t just go rogue and arrest citizens and send police to arrest them. In response to the comment referring to internal affairs, “Perhaps I will,” Turner retorts.

Portia Demands To Talk To Curtis

Portia arrives at Curtis’ office and insists they have a conversation. She questions whether he is trying to assist Drew to salvage their marriage or if he intends to leave her for good; the doctor refuses to remain in uncertainty indefinitely.

He states that they wouldn’t be facing this predicament if it weren’t for her deceit-she was well aware of how Jordan’s dishonesty destroyed his marriage to her.

It astonishes him that she could be so reckless as to place him in this position once more. Portia expresses that she feels hurt and betrayed, especially since he continually brings up her lies regarding Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity.

Portia And Curtis Start To Make Up, And Jordan Walks In

She has no regrets about the lies she told to shield her; she’s exhausted from living under the weight of his scrutiny-her errors shouldn’t jeopardize their relationship.

Portia longs to return to happier times so they can navigate through this together; they kiss and then jump onto the desk; Jordan walks in on them-Portia smirks.
