General Hospital recap for Friday, May 23, 2025 reveals, the Nurses Ball ended in grand fashion today. If you missed it, here’s a recap!
In case you missed it yesterday, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) overheard Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) confront Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) about choices that she made 22 years ago.
Lois admitted that Gio is actually the baby that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) gave up for adoption. She explained that she couldn’t give Gio up and instead found a way to keep him in the family.
Gio, while in a state of shock (and rage) took the stage to play his violin while Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) performed a tango. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)
He played a few notes and then decided to dedicate the performance to the parents who threw him away, Brook Lynn and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). He then smashed his violin before running from the stage with Lois on his heels.
Everyone is in a state of shock as Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) desperately tries to salvage the evening by rambling and babbling, before suggesting that everyone go and get a drink.
The whole disaster was broadcast live on television, so even Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), who is nursing a broken leg, is watching from her couch. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) stops by, and the two enjoy each other’s company while watching the festivities unravel.

Cody Tells Dante The Truth About Having A Son
Dante is desperately trying to figure out what is going on, and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), his best friend for most of his life, takes him outside to talk.
Cody tells Dante that he knew BLQ got pregnant at summer camp and drove her to the bus. He explains that he always assumed that she terminated the pregnancy and thought there was nothing to tell.
He admits that he found out the day before that Brook Lynn had a son and that it may be Gio. He then tells Dante to talk to her for the truth.

Also outside is Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard), Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), and everyone is cornering Chase for information he either can’t share or doesn’t have.
He admits to Brook Lynn having a baby that she gave up, but then insists that they talk to her directly. Olivia is confused and furious and wants to find Dante. Sonny keeps a cool head and insists that they need to allow the grown-ups directly involved to handle things.
He pushes Olivia back inside to watch the show, while Ned hangs back with Chase. He is heartbroken to think that Brook Lynn thought that she couldn’t tell him the truth about her baby.
Carly Tries To Stop Lulu From Doing Anymore Damage
Lulu dips into the ladies’ room with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), who knows that she is completely responsible for the fireworks. She insists that Lulu stop inserting herself into the middle of the situation before she gets crushed by the weight of it.
Carly then bumps into Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in the hallway. Drew tells her that they don’t want any more animosity and that they’d like to reach a custody agreement that would give Willow full custody, with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) having visitation and then getting the kids two weekends a month. Carly refuses and tells them that she’ll see them in court.
Jason Bails Tracy Out Of Jail
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) was removed from the Nurses Ball in handcuffs after being arrested for drugging Drew. She insists that he set her up by putting Ketamine in her car, and waits for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to bail her out.
He does pay to get her out, but tells her she needs to find another way home because he has somewhere else to be.
The Performances Continue
Despite the chaos, Lucy manages to rush Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to the stage for a duet about friendship that restores peace in the ballroom.
It is followed by the GH kids who perform a fun rendition of “I’ll Be There.” As it ends, Wylie Corinthos (Viron Weaver) yells, “Daddy!” from the stage and runs into the arms of Michael, who has returned from the German burn clinic with no warning.
Everyone is stunned as Michael picks up Wylie and tells him that they are going home. Willow and Drew look worried as Michael leaves with the boy.
