Tracy welcomes Gio to the Quartermaine family!
If you were unlucky enough to miss General Hospital today Tuesday, May 27, 2025 then you need the recap, so here it is.
The fallout from the Nurses Ball is heavy, leaving several Port Charles residents in emotional distress. Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), undoubtedly the most selfish person in town, is sitting outside with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) trying to minimize the impact of Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) overhearing her yelling match with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer).
Thanks to her big mouth and needing to meddle, Gio now knows that he has been lied to his whole life, and that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are his real parents.
Lulu is still trying to say that they did everyone a favor but even Cody now sees that it was a big mistake. Gio was already happy and well-adjusted, he didn’t actually need to have his life blown up. Lulu still keeps trying to find ways to turn the horrible situation into a positive until Cody leaves.
Brook Lynn Tells Lois That What She Has Done Is ‘Unforgivable’
After Gio ran from the ballroom so did Lois, trying to find him. Instead, Brook Lynn found her and demanded answers. Lois told her the truth as BLQ struggled to breathe.
She said that Camila Palmieri desperately wanted a child but couldn’t have one of her own, so she was thrilled to raise Gio as her own. Plus, if Lois kept Gio close by then she could definitely say that Brook Lynn’s baby was absolutely loved and well-cared for.
Dante then enters the room and confronts Brook Lynn, who tells him that she got pregnant and believed that she had a closed adoption.
She didn’t tell him because she was just a scared kid and didn’t know how to handle any of it, so she relied on Lois.
She explains that she didn’t tell him later on so that he wouldn’t have to carry the pain that she does, of knowing a child is out there somewhere.
Dante is blown away but thinks that their first priority needs to be Gio. They decide to go find him and Lois offers to tag along, but Brook Lynn tells her that what she has done is unforgivable.
She needs to stay away from both her, and her son. Lois is left alone in tears until Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) walks in looking furious.
Michael Gets His Children And Then Reunites With Sasha
Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) returned to Port Charles on a clear cut mission, to recover what is his. First he swooped into the NUrses Ball and scooped up his son Wiley, and then it was revealed that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) had already taken baby Amelia and brought her to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house.
Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) tearfully chased after her ex, but Jason warned her not to get in the way of Michael and his kids.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) talked to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) about the situation and he again suggested that Nina find a way to get through to her daughter about ending things with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), otherwise she will lose her children. With no other choices left on the table, Willow and Drew turned to the PCPD for help.
Meanwhile, Michael and his kids had a sleepover at Carly’s and he couldn’t have been happier. Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) watched Amelia until he had arrived and once the kids were asleep Sasha and Michael had a moment to reconnect.
He told her that he will honor their agreement about the baby, unless she has changed her mind and would like him to be involved.
Tracy Tries To Welcome Gio Into The Family
Gio returned to the Qs to pack a bag, with Emma Drake (Braedyn Bruner) hot on his heels. He tells her that he can’t stay in the house so Emma tells him that she is going with him wherever he decides to go.
As they are about to leave, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) storms in venting about how Drew framed her and had her arrested. Once she stops and reads the room, Tracy realizes that something is very wrong.
Gio tells her exactly what happened at the Nurses Ball and she quickly realizes that he is her great-grandson. Tracy is in tears as she gently tries to welcome Gio to the family.
She picks up a photo of Edward and Lila Quartermaine and tells Gio about them. He keeps trying to leave but Tracy manages to stop him each time. She texts Brook Lynn that Gio is with her and thankfully, she and Dante arrive before he can leave
