Maxie met up with Nina at the Brown Dog after the ball. Nina needed someone to talk to and informed Maxie that Michael had both of Willow's kids. "It's going to change everything for the custody hearing next week. The way I see it, the only way that Willow is going to be able to keep custody of those children is if she ends things with Drew," Nina lamented.

Nina noted that there was one thing that would push Willow over the edge. "Nina, are you going to tell Willow that you slept with Drew?" Maxie wondered. Nina was considering it. "If I tell Willow that, she has to see him for the liar that he is. I mean, she has to finally see that, right?" Nina asked for reassurance. Nina admitted she wasn't sure if she had the guts to do it.

"She's going to know that I sat back and said nothing while she ruined her life for a man who was lying to her the entire time," Nina worried. "She's never going to forgive me for that."

Nina knew she should just tell Willow the truth, but was too nervous to do it. "I can't bear the thought of losing her now that we're so close. It sounds selfish, doesn't it?" Nina cried. Maxie assured her that it didn't. "Willow is my only child. If she turns her back on me, I have nothing," Nina added.

Nina wondered if Sasha had any dirt on Michael, but Maxie reminded Nina that Sasha was now having Jason's child and would be on Michael's side. Maxie was still surprised that Jason was the father. She told Nina the tale that Sasha originally told about meeting a random guy in a bar who was also having a hard time with bad news.

Maxie figured there was no reason for Jason to pretend to be the father because he had no loyalty to Sasha. Suddenly, it hit Nina whom Jason felt loyalty toward. She asked Maxie when Sasha allegedly met this man. "It was the night before Halloween. I remember cause it was the night before Sam died," Maxie said. It all started to make sense for Nina.

After Maxie left, Nina asked the bartender if he had remembered seeing Sasha there the night before Halloween when Drew and Cody got into their brawl. He said she was there, so she passed the man some cash, who told her a man had joined Sasha. So, Nina showed him a photo of Jason and was told that was not the guy.

Nina then showed him a picture of Michael. The bartender confirmed that it was the man Sasha left with that night.

At the PCPD, Drew demanded that Mac arrest Jason, but he was skeptical and asked Willow to give him the details about what happened. "So, what I'm hearing is that the children are with their father," Mac said after Willow and Drew explained things. Willow looked perplexed, saying, "Technically, yes, but..." Mac interrupted with, "Well, that's not kidnapping.

Drew didn't care because he just wanted Jason arrested for being Jason. "He terrorized the babysitter. The police have to do something," he insisted.

In Carly's living room, before Sasha could answer Michael about whether she had changed her mind about him being in the baby's life, Carly, Josslyn, and Jason came barreling in. Carly and Joss gave Michael big hugs as Michael thanked Jason for getting Amelia.

Carly was overjoyed when Michael asked if he and the kids could spend the night, but she was also confused. "How did you know to come home?" she asked. Michael told her that he had called Diane to discuss the custody case, and she had told him about the court date.

Mac soon arrived to tell them he was investigating a kidnapping, but didn't stay long because Michael must have cleared things up since Mac was gone before we saw Carly and her clan again.

Mac then returned to the PCPD, where he informed a horrified Willow that Michael had obtained emergency custody of his children. Willow insisted that Drew drive her to Carly's house, where she marched up to the front door alone. Michael opened the door before she could knock. "Michael, don't do this. Don't take my children away from me," she begged.

Back at Carly's place, Carly admitted to Michael that she told Diane to move ahead with the custody hearing without informing him. Michael thanked his mother and told her she had done the right thing.

In the Metro Court Gardens, Ned approached Lois and simply asked, "Why?" All Lois could do was say she was sorry, but Ned was still reeling. "Chase told me that it's all true. Brook Lynn had a baby when she was practically a baby herself, and you kept it from me? The biggest crisis of our daughter's life, when she really needed support, and where was her father? Nowhere. Because you cut me out," he shouted.

"What teenage daughter wants to tell her father that she's pregnant?" Lois reasoned. "I don't even think Brook Lynn wanted to tell me she was pregnant, but she needed my help. She felt so ashamed."

Ned told Lois he would have supported her decision to let Brook Lynn have the baby out of town and give it up for adoption. "Lois, I would have helped," Ned insisted. That's when Lois revealed her real fears. "Or maybe the Quartermaines would have swooped in and taken the baby as if it were just another asset," she said.

Ned noted that Lois had always had an issue with his family. Lois pointed out that they would have tried to control Gio. "He grew up happy and healthy, and we were right there in case anything went wrong," Lois reasoned. Ned couldn't believe he had been living with his own grandson for the past year.

A furious Olivia soon appeared and had a bone to pick with Lois. "You're my best friend, Lois. Since pre-school...how could you?" she asked. Lois once again went into her spiel about how Brook Lynn didn't want anyone to know. Olivia didn't care. "You were the closest thing I ever had to a sister. I would never keep something like this from you," Olivia said in amazement.

"I did what was best for Brook Lynn and Gio," Lois cried. That just angered Olivia more. "Another lie. You did what was best for you. You set it up so you could keep your grandson close and not have to share him with anyone. Not even his mother. Shame on you," she shouted.

Lois wasn't having it and came at Olivia with both barrels. "How can you look down on me when you didn't even tell Sonny that Dante was his son?" she spat. Olivia argued that she had to protect Dante from Sonny's many enemies. Olivia also pointed out that Gio lost his adoptive parents.

"You let that kid be orphaned, Lois. His mother and father were right there," Olivia yelled. Lois said it was too late to tell Gio by then. She also reminded Olivia how hard it was for her to have a baby as a teen, and she didn't want that for Brook Lynn.

After Olivia ran off, Lois sat down in the chair again, only to have Sonny approach her. "Go ahead, Sonny. Have at it. I deserve it," Lois said in defeat. Sonny said Lois should have known he would have helped. Lois noted he had helped without even knowing Gio was his grandson. Sonny claimed he could have done even more.

Lois reminded Sonny that she didn't even know Dante was Sonny's son when Brook Lynn became pregnant. She didn't want to burden him with the info when Camilla died because it was right when he found out that Dante was his. "So, when you asked me to pay for Gio's music, you were trying to give me a relationship with my grandson?" Sonny asked. Lois said that was exactly what she was doing.

"I wish it had been different, but I appreciate what you were trying to do," Sonny said, becoming the only person who has been nice to Lois so far. Lois finally broke down crying in Sonny's arms.

In the Q living room, Gio told Brook Lynn that he was just leaving. She begged him not to go. Dante grabbed Gio's arm and said they needed to talk, but Gio grew angry, pulled his arm away, and shouted for Dante never to touch him. "You don't understand, Gio. Dante didn't even know I was pregnant. He didn't know about you," Brook Lynn tried to explain. "Okay, what's your excuse?" Gio asked his newfound mother.

"I had a baby that I gave up for adoption. I didn't even know if it was a boy or a girl or where they ended up, just that they had gone to a loving home. I certainly didn't know that it was you, Gio," Brook Lynn said. Gio accused her of not wanting him or thinking about him. "It wasn't that I didn't want you or love you. I just wasn't ready for you. I was just a kid when I got pregnant. I never, ever forgot about you," she cried.

Gio asked if Brook Lynn had ever come looking for him. Brook Lynn said she didn't think it was right to upend his life. Brook Lynn was beside herself when Gio ran out, and Emma ran after him. She tried to follow him, but Tracy stopped her. "Sweetheart, you have to let him go," she said.

Brook Lynn disagreed, but Dante argued that they couldn't force him to stay. "But he's our kid," Brook Lynn said. "Yeah, our kid you never told me about. A kid that I barely know, because you decided that I shouldn't know that I had a son," Dante accused.

Tracy announced she was going to let them talk privately, but had something to say first. "I want you to try to not let your pain obscure the fact that you met your son and he's a wonderful boy," she told them. When Tracy was gone, Brook Lynn began to weep. "You have every right to hate me," she said to Dante.

"I don't hate you, Brook Lynn. I just don't know why you didn't tell me," Dante said. Brook Lynn explained how freaked out she was when she learned she was pregnant. "All I could think was that I screwed up...Think back to that summer. What would you have done if I had told you?" she asked.

"I don't know. I have no idea because you never gave me a chance to have a choice," Dante replied. "What I do know is that I cared about you and respected you, but you've been lying to my face every chance you had for 22 years."

Brook Lynn admitted she had lied and said how sorry she was, but that she did what she felt she had to do. "I get why scared, teenage Brook Lynn didn't want to tell me, but why not now? Would you have even told me if your hand hadn't been forced?" Dante asked. "Probably not," Brook Lynn whispered.

Dante then asked the ultimate question. Who else knew she'd had a baby besides Gloria and Lois? Just then, Chase walked in and ran straight to his wife. "Is it really Gio?" he asked. Brook Lynn nodded. As Chase took Brook Lynn into his arms, Dante knew that his partner had kept something from him.

When Dante started asking questions, Chase confessed that he had known about the baby for a few months. "Chase wanted to tell you, but I begged him not to," Brook Lynn explained. Tracy returned and asked Dante to direct his anger at Lois, "because she and her unilateral decision are what got us in this fiasco."

When Dante asked how Gio found out, Tracy and Brook Lynn gave one another all-knowing looks because they knew it had to be Lulu.

Emma brought Gio to Robin and Jason's old footbridge and told him how important the place always was to her mother. Gio noted how peaceful it was. "I thought you could take a minute to catch your breath and decide what you want to do next," Emma said. "It looks like we're gonna be here a while, cause I have no idea," Gio said as Emma took his hand.

Gio explained to Emma how he learned the truth. "I was still in a daze when you found me," he said. When he got out on stage, he saw the people he had always trusted in the audience and said that he had lost it. "My violin was the biggest lie of all," Gio said, as his reason for smashing it.
