General Hospital's Laura Wright Teases Big Surprises Ahead for Carly and... Not Who You’d Expect

It always exciting when a soap star teases what’s coming up for their character so when General Hospital’s Laura Wright took to her Instagram stories on March 4 to give her followers a little peek behind the scenes, we’re sure it sparked some speculation among fans.

Now, if you didn’t see the post, one may think Wright would be teasing some upcoming scenes between Carly and Jack, given their chemistry and back and forth banter. However, the actress had another castmate in mind and shared a photo from the set on the docks captioned, “Great stuff with my BFF. Super grateful.”

If you guessed that the BFF in the photo was Steve Burton, then you’re right. Though Jason has always been Carly’s best friend in Port Charles, in the real world, Wright has a few… castmates Cynthia Watros (Nina) and Eden McCoy (Josslyn), as featured in our gallery filled with photos of soaps’ closest gal pals.

And Wright wasn’t the only one who recently shared a pic with Burton. While it wasn’t storyline related, like Wright’s, last week, Chris McKenna (Jack) posted a photo of “Jason and Brennan in another life” — and the other life being from back in the day when they both played on The Young and the Restless with McKenna as Detective Mark Harding and Burton as Dylan McAvoy.
