General Hospital Shocker 4/22/25: Nina and Carly Join Forces With a Ruthless New Plan — Ava Returns and Kristina’s Secret Nears Explosion!

The drama is building in today’s General Hospital spoilers! Curtis checks on Trina, Alexis begs Diane to back off, Kristina wants to come clean, Kai accepts Drew’s offer, Ava makes her grand return, Jason urges Willow to do the right thing, and Nina and Carly adjust their plan of attack!

Grabbing a cup of coffee with Trina, Curtis wants to make sure his daughter is okay. “Is that something you can do?” he asks her. Trina has said she’ll support Kai’s decision to get the risky surgery, but does she really mean it?

Things at the law office of Miller & Davis are getting tense, given Diane’s recommendation that Kristina be committed to avoid going to prison for attempted murder. “The best option is leave it alone,” Alexis argues. Unfortunately, secrets have a way of coming out whether you like it or not!

Kristina continues to be overwhelmed with the guilt of nearly killing Ric and Liz in that car crash, and Lucky is the only person she can talk to about it. “The only way I can free myself is to confess,” she insists. Lucky originally wanted her to face justice for nearly killing the woman he loves, but has he changed his mind now that he’s made himself an accessory after the fact?

Kai made up his mind to have the surgery that Drew recommended, and now he tells the Congressman the good news. “If you think it’s a good idea,” he declares, “then I’m in.” But why is Drew being so generous with a college football player?

Ric wanted to use the evidence Ava had gathered to put Kristina in prison, but she was much more interested in using it to squeeze Alexis for the Cassadine money that was taken from her. Now, wearing a fur and sunglasses, Ava pops into Ric’s hospital room to declare with a grin: “Ava Jerome is back!”

Willow has been making some pretty important decisions lately and Jason warns that she really should have a conversation with Michael about everything before it gets any further out of hand. “You need to face him,” he urges, “and end this war once and for all.”

Carly and Nina agreed to work together once they realized that they were on the same side when it came to Willow and Drew’s relationship. But their previous attempts to drive the couple apart haven’t worked, so they decide to put their heads together and come up with a new angle. “Are we in agreement on our plans?” Nina wonders. Given Carly’s expression, that might be a no!
