General Hospital spoilers indicate that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) could be leaving Port Charles soon, as the actress announced that she is taking a sabbatical from the show.
This leads us to wonder how Maxie’s absence could be explained, and while there are many possibilities, it could tie in with Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) recent storyline.
Willow Tait Continues To Cause Chaos At The Quartermaine Mansion
Willow could continue to cause trouble, as she has been gaslighting Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).
She may also start sneaking into to see her children, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko), who is she currently not allowed to see as the judge awarded Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) full custody.
It is possible that Willow has also taken on another personality, and is not aware that she is doing these things.
Maxie Jones Comes To The Quartermaines For A Meeting With Brook Lynn Quartermaine
Maxie would arrive at the Quartermaine mansion to meet with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), possibly for Deception business, or another reason, and the two would have a discussion.
Meanwhile, Willow could be lurking around the mansion, trying to see her children, or she could still be continuing to mess with Daisy Gilmore (Levi Clark Coughlin) if Sasha is still in Port Charles by this point. Either way, it is an opportunity for Maxie to make a discovery that she would regret seeing.
Maxie Jones Catches Willow Tait Lurking Around The Mansion
Brook Lynn and Maxie could have heard a strange noise earlier, and may have not thought anything of it at that point. Brook Lynn could receive a call, and then Maxie would hear the peculiar noise again and head off to investigate.
She could head upstairs and find a crazed Willow, messing with Daisy, or looking in on her children. Maxie would realize that Willow is not herself.
Willow would be scared now that she has been caught. Maxie could piece together that Willow was messing with Sasha via Daisy, and has also been off her rocker.
Maxie would try to help Willow, but Willow could not have that. She would have to take drastic measures to make sure that Maxie does not tell anyone that she has been lurking around the mansion and is responsible for Sasha’s gaslighting.
Willow Tait Knocks Maxie Jones Out And Her Disappearance Is A Mystery
A desperate Willow would have to attack Maxie and knock her out. She would hide her in the closet at the Quartermaines, and then when the coast is clear, she could make her move and get her out of there.
Maxie would then have a long absence from Port Charles, and it would be a mystery where she ended up thanks to Willow during the next few months.
Meanwhile, Maxie’s friends and family would be devastated by her sudden disappearance, and it would surely become one of Port Charles’ biggest mysteries.
Could Willow be holding her captive somewhere in Port Charles? What ultimately happened after Willow knocked Maxie out? One thing is for sure, the reveal would be fun, and worth the wait!
