General Hospital Shocker: Nina’s Cheating Trap Backfires – Willow Turns on Her Mom!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) cheating trap could backfire. Will Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) side with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and blame her mom for the setup?

When Nina first started putting this plan in motion with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she doubted that Drew would actually cheat on Willow – at least at this point in their relationship.

That’s why Nina suggested this plot to frame Drew using Jacinda (Paige Herschell) the hooker instead.

Of course, there’s a bit of a problem here since Nina herself didn’t buy the idea of Drew’s real betrayal!

Willow may find it fishy too once she gets past the initial shock and anger of seeing Drew in bed with someone else.

GH spoilers say Jacinda will play her part perfectly and try to convince Willow that the handsome congressman wanted her.

However, Drew will tell a very different story – and based on his fuzzy memories of the night before, it won’t be hard for him to guess he was drugged.

The wheels may start turning for Drew as he figures out a trap was set.

Drew may put it all together and argue that someone wanted Willow to face this awful homecoming surprise.

Naturally, Drew may realize Nina makes the most sense as someone who’d go this far to break them up.

Willow may also recall that she told Nina when she was flying back and perhaps gave her mom the green light.

Since Willow is so desperate to believe Drew’s her knight in shining armor, she may accept his version of events.

When Drew promises he wouldn’t throw away what they share, it’s easy to imagine Willow taking his hand and insisting she believes that.

Willow has proven she’s willing to kick Nina to the curb whenever her mom makes a mistake.

It probably won’t be difficult for Drew to sell the idea that Nina’s made another one.

This could be exactly what Drew needs to turn Willow against her mother, so Nina’s plot could backfire spectacularly.

Whether Portia goes down for this or not, Nina certainly could.

Willow may end up confronting Nina and demanding to know whether she set Drew up.

Nina may struggle to hide her guilt and leave Willow ready to cut her mom out of her life entirely.

If that happens, will Nina decide she has nothing left to lose and divulge her past hookups with Drew?

Will Nina keep those under wraps instead out of fear she’ll ruin any hope of reconciliation?
