General Hospital spoilers indicate that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is not acting like himself since he got out of prison.
His behavior seems to mirror Shiloh (last played by Coby Ryan McLaughlin), who was the notorious cult leader of Dawn of Day.
It has been widely speculated that Drew could actually be Shiloh, but perhaps he is still Drew but he was influenced by Dawn of Day in prison.
Cyrus Renault And Others Coerced Drew Cain Into Dawn of Day’s Followings
While in prison, Cyrus Renault (last played by Jeff Kober) could have been influencing Drew into the teachings of Dawn of Day.
Perhaps Cyrus became a devout follower himself and was recruiting for followers in prison, and Drew could have been one of those followers.
Cyrus may have had help as there may have been several followers of the cult also in prison at the time that Cyrus and Drew were. There were turning people over to Dawn of Day, and Cyrus became enthralled with the cult, as he claimed to have found God when he was up for parole.
Drew could have been slowly hypnotized into Shiloh’s ways by Cyrus and others. Cyrus seemed to have plans for Drew while he was in jail, and he may have arranged his beating in order to secure turning him over to the ways of Dawn of Day.
Drew Cain Has Adopted Dawn of Day’s Teachings And Uses It To Control Others
Drew has become a master manipulator, and seems to have power over others. He demonstrates this with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), who is an easy target as a former Dawn of Day member.
He also seems to have control over Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), who he has manipulated into having very risky surgery to cure his football injury.
He could have learned these tactics in prison, and be an avid follower of Dawn of Day now. Perhaps he is one of the most influential people in the cult, but now he keeps them under wraps.
Drew Cain Will Not Stop Until He Gets What He Wants
Drew Cain is not done yet manipulating and having power over others. He recently manipulated Willow into signing papers that would give him custody of Wiley and Amelia if something ever happens to her, and he wants Kai to document his journey as he goes through with this experimental surgery that he has talked him into.
Drew even kept Willow from seeing Michael Corinthos (last played by Chad Duell) in Germany by paying off a woman at the burn clinic, because he did not want Willow to see Michael, as it would mess up whatever plans that he has in store.
Drew definitely has major plans for Willow, although they are unclear. We know that Drew is seeking power, as he was elected to congress last year, and he will not stop until he gets what he wants.
He is clearly using the teachings of Dawn of Day to get what he wants, and there is no stopping him.
