General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may have a shocking realization ahead of him in the next few weeks or months.
He’s been in partnership with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) on the Esplanade Project and trying to push a referendum, but he’ll find out Sidwell’s not his friend!
Drew Thinks Sidwell Wants To Improve The Waterfront
Drew thinks Sidwell wants to improve the waterfront, and push through his pet project the Esplanade, a large and high-class development that will supposedly improve Port Charles.
He and Boyle are trying to use the project to chase the mob presence out of Port Charles, specifically Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
But what neither he nor Boyle realize is that Sidwell is a much more dangerous man than Sonny ever was-he held Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) for ransom with a bomb!
If her mother Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) didn’t give him back one diamond she stole, he was going to blow Sasha up; fortunately Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was able to free her.
Jenz may claim he’s left his mobster mercenary life behind in Somalia, but skunks don’t lose their stripes-and murderers don’t usually stop killing, at least not for very long.
Drew Doesn’t Yet Know That Sidwell Did Something That Affects Him In A Personal Way
Drew doesn’t yet know that Sidwell did something that affects him in a personal way-but affects his beloved Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) even more, and in a worse way.
Sidwell paid off Judge Eva Heran (Tessa Auberjonois) to give Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) full custody of his and Willow’s children.
Sidwell’s motivations in doing this aren’t exactly clear-but that won’t matter once Drew finds out his “trusted partner” betrayed him in the worst way possible.
Because of Sidwell throwing the trial, Willow had a nervous breakdown right I the courtroom, proving herself an unfit mother, which is what Drew’s team was fighting against happening!
How can a woman care for her own children when she’s so mentally and emotionally unstable-Sidwell and his bribery lost Drew and Willow their case!
With “Friends” Like Sidwell, Who Needs Enemies?
Drew will be shocked to the point of realizing with “friends” like Sidwell, who needs enemies-and what else has he trusted Sidwell with that he shouldn’t have?
Who else might he be bribing behind his and Boyle’s backs-and what other deals they think are made might dematerialize before their eyes?
On the other hand, with this bribe exposed, Drew does get leverage against an enemy-namely Michael Corinthos.
He can get Michael’s full custody thrown out because the judge was bribed-if only he can prove it! But, what other surprises, or perhaps that should be shocks, will Drew be in for courtesy of his false friend Sidwell?
