General Hospital comings and goings reveal that fans of the ABC soap have finally seen the last of Eva LaRue and her character Natalia Rogers-Ramirez.
LaRue made her final appearance in Port Charles on Friday June 13, but her exit has left a lot of viewers baffled by the writers’ storyline for Natalie. Did GH fumble Natalie Rogers-Ramirez? Keep reading to find out! Warning, GH spoilers below!
Eva LaRue on General Hospital
Eva LaRue was a HUGE casting for General Hospital, and viewers were excited to see Natalia arrive on the scene. LaRue was well known in the daytime TV world for her time on All My Children as Dr. Maria Santos Gray and on The Young and the Restless as Celeste Rosales.
Eva was a member of the AMC cast from 1993-2011. The actress also appeared on the primetime drama CSI: Miami from 2005-2012.
Eva LaRue is kind of a big deal, so GH viewers assumed she would be given a big storyline and be placed front and center.
Instead it was revealed that Natalia Rogers-Ramirez treated Blaze horribly when she was growing up, then she horrified everyone with her homophobic slurs. Natalia could easily be called one of the most hated characters on General Hospital right now.
General Hospital Didn’t Do Eva LaRue Justice?
Did TPTB at General Hospital drop the ball when they wrote Eva LaRue’s new character in to Port Charles? It seemed like the writers were determined to make fans hate Natalia Ramirez, and if that was their mission then they were successful.
But, they certainly wasted a talented actress that came with her own fan base. After being dubbed the “Homophobic Momager” on social media by fans, Natalia’s fate was sealed.
Do you think that the writers should have given Eva LaRue a better storyline on GH? Were you a fan of Natalia? Share your thoughts down below in the comment section and let us know!
