Shockwaves ripping through the courtroom at Michael and Willow’s hearing is a pretty dramatic teaser. And if we’re talking shockwaves, then Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) must get full custody of Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia (Sequoia & Serenity Mork Macko).
Which is wild because, on the stand, Willow wasn’t willing to choose her kids over Drew (Cameron Mathison). Shortly before, she chose to believe in Drew over Michael (Rory Gibson) or her son, who heard the congressman saying that his dad didn’t want his kids.
Can’t forget about those documents Willow and Drew signed, making each other the kids’ guardians in case something happens to one of them. But Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), having Michael’s baby right there in the courtroom, might have been a visual too big for the judge to ignore. Or the fact that Michael, apparently, missed his kids’ events even before he had to go off to the clinic to get treated for his burns.
In the chaotic aftermath of the verdict, look for Ric (Rick Hearst) to make an admission. Please tell us he spills the tea on personally seeing Drew break Wiley’s heart. If it isn’t this, then what admission does he make?
Patient Care and a Panicked Stare
Meanwhile, the courtroom isn’t the only place experiencing chaos. Take Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who’s dealing with a wild card daughter like Kristina (Kate Mansi), who can’t quite kick her Ava (Maura West) obsession. And she’s dealing with embezzling funds for Ric and Ava. Alexis, who’s all about controlling every variable, isn’t able to do so right now. Expect Alexis to swallow her panic, especially if she hears about what Kristina’s up to now.
Elsewhere, a calm, cool, and collected Ava issues an invitation. This could be for Ric…or, more likely, this is about Kristina’s plan to have Cody (Josh Kelly) seduce Ava.
Finally, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is getting back to her life. She turned down Lucky’s (Jonathan Jackson) proposal, and now he’s hightailing it out of town. The cast on her leg is off, and she’s back to work. In fact, on Thursday, Elizabeth tends to a patient. The question is: Is it just some random patient or someone she knows?
