General Hospital spoilers, January 27: Will Nina and Curtis save Willow from herself?

Nina and Curtis commiserate.

In addition to Curtis and Nina commiserating, General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, May 8, 2025, focus on Jason giving some tough love and Dante opening up to Sonny.

Next on General Hospital

If Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) commiserate, as the teasers suggest, then things aren’t going well for them. They’re in dire need of one of their venting sessions. From Curtis’s perspective, Drew (Cameron Mathison) could be on a winning streak. Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) is awake, and he’s recovering. He’s already talking about getting back on the football field, so Drew making this happen looks good for the congressman. Curtis can’t like that.

Nina’s perspective is a little more complicated. Curtis doesn’t know all the details about Drew’s Savoy comeuppance, and we don’t know how much Nina will tell him. There’s no way he’s aware of his wife’s part in this, and he may not even know much about Nina’s part. How much is she going to tell him?

Game-Changing Intel and Life-Changing Decisions

While Nina and Curtis commiserate, Portia (Brook Kerr) has work to do. Damage control, to be exact. Brad (Parry Shen) is a wild card that she can’t trust. And so Portia resorts to fishing for info from Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), presumably about what Drew knows about his drugging. Portia has to be freaking out. How will she be able to keep her crimes from destroying her career and her marriage?

As for Brad, apparently, he makes a life-changing decision. He vowed to change his bad boy ways, but ultimately, his shady side won out when he blackmailed his boss, and it’s gone downhill from there. He witnessed Lucas (Van Hansis) moving on with Marco (Adrian Anchondo). There’s no way he can work for Portia anymore. Drew just paid him a million dollars for coming clean and doing him a favor. Is this life-changing decision about leaving town or pivoting to something else in Port Charles?

Fatherly Support

When Jason (Steve Burton) gives some tough love, he may be following in Carly’s (Laura Wright) footsteps and talking to his son about the beach party disaster. Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) is the one who talked Rocco (Finn Carr) into going, and it resulted in Rocco drinking so much that he suffered from alcohol poisoning. What will Jason’s version of tough love look like?

Finally, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is spiraling because he came close to losing his son so soon after losing Sam (Kelly Monaco). And, of course, he lost Lulu (Alexa Havins) to a coma for four years. This latest scare triggered Dante’s fears, and as a result, he took his anger out on Gio (Giovanni Mazza). Look for Dante to open up to Sonny (Maurice Benard). Hopefully, Sonny can help his son take a step back and realize that everything will be okay and that he should let his anger go.
