General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of May 19 to 23, 2025 tease showtime, secrets and shocks!
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) announce it’s showtime, as Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) looks worried secrets explode, and a mysterious Nurses’ Ball crasher shocks everyone!
It’s Showtime!
Drew and Nina are the 2025 Nurses’ Ball announcers and presumably they’re on the red carpet as they make the announcement.
Drew shouts out “Welcome to the 2025 Nurses’ Ball” and Nina shouts, “It’s showtime”! It will be showtime in more ways than one this week as secrets explode and lives are forever altered.
There may be more than one secret exposed this week in dramatic ways! The clock is ticking for two exposés-Drew’s manipulations regarding Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) Baden-Baden trip, and Gio Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) true identity-will they both be exposed this week?
Nina Loses Her Cool, Carly And Nina’s Catfight!
The claws are out as Nina loses her cool after showing up at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house in Friday’s episode.
Willow had been just served divorce and sole custody papers supposedly from Michael Corinthos (most recently Chad Duell) but in reality, Carly handled it all.
Carly was anything but welcoming to her co-grandma of Michael’s children when she arrived. Now we see an out and out catfight with Carly grabbing Nina, Nina grabbing back, and a blur of blondes tumbling over the couch, and likely onto the floor!
Even though it looks like Carly may have started it she may just be fighting back since Nina’s the one who loses her cool!
Gio’s Nurses’ Ball Debut
Back at the ball, Gio is on stage and prepares to make his debut-violin in hand, he announces he just wants to do something he’s never done before.
Gio will be playing the tango on his violin as Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) can be seen towards the center of the stage getting ready to perform. His partner can be seen farther back on the stage, costumed in a red maxi dress.
Gio may well wind up doing something he’s never done before in a different sense of the word as well, as Lois, sitting at a table towards the front looks around nervously.
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is watching every move Lois makes-will Lulu spill the twenty something year old tea that Gio’s Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase’s (Amanda Setton) baby?
Secrets And Shocks
A voiceover announces, “This week, you’ll never believe who crashes the ball!” as a scene of a shocked Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) at a table is shown.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) in a tux looks confused and worried, as Drew looks shocked and Willow looks stunned! Even Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) looks worried and maybe a little bit suspicious!
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will receive a mysterious call, might it be from the mystery ball crasher? Given the deer in the headlights look Drew has on his face, will the ball crasher be Michael?
