General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease there may be more reasons than being in shock for Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) emotional meltdown and fainting spell. Could these reactions spell Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) and Willow’s new baby is on the way?
Hormonal, Much?
Willow didn’t seem this hormonal when she was pregnant with Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork-Macko) but she certainly used poor judgment-she refused leukemia treatment, fearing it would hurt the baby.
As a result, she nearly died although Amelia was delivered safely-by caesarean section, however, it was a close call.
Willow herself nearly died-having a near-death experience where her illegally adoptive mother Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) tried to convince her to enter the netherworld.
Of course, we don’t know how her first pregnancy went with the baby boy who died, fathered by Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).
But finding out he died and Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) was really Jonah Corinthos may have something to do with her desperation to keep him and Amelia.
Willow Seemed Pretty Strong When She Wasn’t Suffering From Leukemia
Willow seemed pretty strong when she wasn’t suffering from leukemia, even when occasionally she encountered Shiloh, and she didn’t fall apart when Harmony died.
She seemed like a fighter-so how is it she just fell apart so easily and fainted when trying to leave the courtroom with Drew and her birth mother Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)?
Again, having lost her first baby could account for some of the shock and desperation, but under normal circumstances, she’d be fighting back!
She was very strong and composed the day before, delivering Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Sasha Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) baby. She even went to see her in the hospital nursery with Michael and their kids and was hoping to work out joint custody; yet it seems she’s had a nervous breakdown!
Could Willow Be In Early Pregnancy, With The Hormones Already Starting?
Could Willow be in early pregnancy, with the hormones already starting; medical tests were done on her in GH but they didn’t pick up on anything amiss.
But it’s possible the pregnancy may not be suspected, and that particular test wasn’t done-with Willow’s medical history they were probably more worried about leukemia. And sometimes, when a pregnancy is in its early stages, maybe 3-4 weeks, it won’t show up on a test even if one is taken.
There are many questions surrounding Willow’s bizarre behavior and her collapse-she’s been assigned to a psychiatrist for a psych evaluation to see if she’s had a breakdown.
But considering her first baby died for an unknown reason and she had leukemia with Amelia her second, is a high risk pregnancy for Willow ahead in the storyline as well?
