General Hospital Star Steve Burton Gets Married to Lady Love, Michelle Lundstrom

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Jason Morgan may be a single pringle, but his portrayer, Steve Burton, is officially off the market!

That’s because the soap actor married his girlfriend, chef and recipe content creator Michelle Lundstrom, in a church ceremony this past Saturday, May 17. More details about the happy couple’s nuptials are down below!

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Burton!

People broke the news about the Burton wedding, where the couple said their “I do’s” and then celebrated with a reception at the Montage Laguna Beach, right by the ocean.

The happy couple met on social media, becoming friends at first, and then, in true soapy fashion, their relationship took a romantic turn.

Burton confirmed that he was dating Michelle on his Daily Drama podcast, along with fellow GHer, Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli), in May 2024.

Shortly after sharing this, Burton and Lundstrom officially made their first public appearance together at the 2024 Daytime Emmys.

Social Media Sweethearts

After this, both followers of Burton and Lundstrom were treated to some sweet moments the couple shared, on both their social media accounts, documenting vacays to Disneyland, New York, and even a trip to the beach with Jonathan Jackson (GH’s Lucky Spencer). As they got more serious, Lundstrom moved to Nashville, where Burton was to be closer to him.

The two kicked off 2025 with an engagement, announcing the news on Burton’s Instagram with a photo of him bent down on one knee.

Burton quoted a Bible verse in his IG caption, writing, “Engaged 1/3/25. Jeremiah 29:11 ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ ”

In March of this year, they both decided to relocate to California so that Burton could be closer to his work (the GH studio) and his children.

Speaking of, the Burtons were joined by their kiddos, Steve’s three children and Lundstrom’s two daughters, at the wedding.

In addition to the five kids, Jonathan Jackson and his wife, Lisa Vultaggio Jackson (GH’s ex Hannah Scott), were in the couple’s wedding party, too.

Steve and Michelle danced to Forrest Blakk’s ‘I Choose You’, and it’s being reported that some of Burton’s GH castmates were in attendance. The newlyweds have chosen Hawaii for their honeymoon.
