General Hospital’s Big Return a Big Bust? Where the Heck Is [Spoiler]?

For several months, General Hospital fans were subjected to Lulu telling anyone who’d listen that she needed to get daughter Charlotte back. With that mission in mind, she traversed the globe and put others in danger as she pursued Valentine and their offspring.

Yet since reclaiming the teen and bringing her back to Port Charles, we’ve barely seen Charlotte. This week, we were told she went to the movies with friends rather than attend the birthday party for Dante.

While that may not seem like a big deal, this would have been a perfect opportunity to remind us of Charlotte’s place not only in the family, but with the rest of the teens on the canvas.

Later, Lulu moved into her new house and again, this would have been a nice chance to see how Charlotte and Dante interact. This family unit — Dante, his ex-wife Lulu and their respective children — are something of a modern day Brady Bunch.

Yes, it’s important that we see how Dante and Lulu adapt to their new reality — especially given the Brook Lynn and Gio connection — but why is Charlotte being left out in the proverbial cold, storyline-wise. Let’s not forget that only a short time ago, Charlotte was dealing with the dark side of the Cassadine legacy. That’s an avenue that’s well worth exploring… which can only be done if Laura’s granddaughter is actually on air!
