General Hospital’s ‘Britch’ Is Back… to Help Brook Lynn Smack Down Lulu?
With the slap that General Hospital had Brook Lynn lay on Lulu in the June 16 episode (recapped here), it was on game on. The question is, what, exactly, is the game?
Livid that Dante’s former wife dug, dug, dug into her past until she brought to light the fact that, as teenagers, he and Brook Lynn had conceived a child together, the Quartermaine heiress is hell-bent on revenge. But she’s chosen a curious route to get it: She’s had Marco research, of all people, the late Dr. Britt Westbourne, whose portrayer Kelly Thiebaud returns in July.
You’ll recall that, years ago, “The Britch” stole one of Lulu and Dante’s embryos in order to get pregnant and pretend that the father was Dr. Patrick Drake. When the truth came out that the “late” Robin Scorpio’s husband wasn’t the father, Britt spun another lie. But the wheels were already coming off of her scheme.
When smart cookie Liz noticed that Britt’s son Ben had the same latex allergy as Dante, she began putting the pieces together and ultimately set in motion the big reveal of the truth.
Once “Lante” found out that Ben was theirs, they renamed him Rocco and welcomed him into their home. Which is all bizarre and interesting and all, but we’re not sure how Britt could possibly help Brook Lynn achieve her goal of giving Lulu a taste of her own medicine. And that is, even if Britt were alive!
