Every now and then we get to see a pup or two on our favorite soaps and the latest happened to turn up on General Hospital. As viewers will recall, last Friday, Gio and Emma were hanging out in the park when a stray dog appeared and ran off with his softball glove. After they located the pup, and Emma did a little digging around, she learned that the dog hadn’t been microchipped and planned to post some pics in an attempt to find her owner.
However, when she left her with Gio to go post a pic online, the pup ran off once again and this time stole Anna’s hat. It wasn’t long before she turned up and Emma decided, if they couldn’t find the beagle’s owner, she would keep her and name her Outback.
The ABC soap posted an adorable photo of Giovanni Mazza and Braedyn Bruner holding the pup in question and stated, “It’s never a bad day at work when there’s a dog to act with,” to which Bruner replied, “We love Outback!” as Mazza added, “Dogs make everything just a little bit better, don’t they?”
A few of Mazza and Bruner’s fellow Port Charles stars jumped into the comments with their thoughts about their newest castmember, including Daniel Goddard (Professor Dalton), who stated, “Rumor has it that that beautiful beagle, a.k.a. Outback… Loves Dalton so much he wants to be adopted.” And Rena Sofer (Lois), who has fostered numerous pups over the years, cheered, “Finally! A dog on GH!”
Outback is super cute and we hope to see more of the sweet girl in Port Charles in the weeks ahead.
