General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that thanks to Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), the truth behind Sasha Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) baby daddy has been spilled.
While Sasha is likely horrified (although she might be far too preoccupied with going into labor to show it), Michael Corinthos – the baby daddy in question- may not be as upset.
Actor Rory Gibson recently talked about all things Port Charles, including becoming a father again, during an interview with Soap Opera Digest (SOD).
Michael Corinthos Never Wanted To Hide From His Responsibility
Gibson reminds SOD that Michael never wanted to keep the baby’s paternity a secret in the first place. He notes that Michael isn’t ashamed of what happened or of the baby.
In fact, the actor believes that had he not kept the secret and came out publicly with the baby news right away, he and Sasha may have already reunited.
Gibson goes on to say he believes this is a “… bump in the road, but now, the opportunity for him to be a father to his child is there.”
Plus, there’s now a chance to not only co-parent with Sasha but have a romantic reunion.
Gibson goes on to say, “I think that he’s worried, but he also has peace of mind in knowing that he doesn’t have to keep this giant secret anymore.”
What Happens Next?
As it seems, Sasha and Michael’s baby is on its way, and from the looks of it, in an ironic twist, Willow Tait-Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will swoop into action, as she is a nurse and trained in emergencies like this, to help deliver the baby.
Could Willow’s eagerness to pitch in, for the sake of Michael and Sasha’s child, help forge some good vibes between her, Michael, and Sasha?
Enough so that the soon-to-be former Ms. Corinthos establishes some healthy co-parenting boundaries of her own by agreeing to 50/50 custody with Michael. Only time will tell.
