Is love in the air?
Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Genevieve Parisi on Season 26 of “The Bachelor” and Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, she has been keeping fans updated with her life online, including her dating and love life.
This week, Genevieve took to social media and teased a new romance while sharing an update about a recent date she went on.
In a new video, she said, “Okay, date update. After my last date disaster, I wasn’t getting my hopes up too much for this one. But we had met briefly before, so I still had a little bit of hope, but I wasn’t expecting it to actually go well. Spoiler alert: It went well.”

Genevieve then went on and shared details about the date, including how natural it felt.
“He picked me up for dinner and right away in the car we just started talking about our days, like normal conversation,” she said. “Also, he’s 37 [years old], love that.”
She continued, “We get to the restaurant… and right when we sit down, he’s like, ‘Okay, tell me everything about you.’ And not in a fake, I-should-ask-this type of way. You could tell he genuinely wanted to know. And if I said something, he would ask a follow-up question about that instead of just nodding, so I knew he was paying attention. The conversation was so easy, at no point was I sitting there and felt awkward or didn’t know what to say.”
Genevieve also noted that when their food arrived, he served her first, which she appreciated.
“And when the appetizer came, he grabbed the spoon to plate it, and in my head I was like, ‘I wonder whose plate he’s gonna put it on first,’” she admitted. “He put it on mine. Such a small thing, but very sweet.”

The Bachelor Nation star then revealed that both of them are leaving to go on trips within the next couple weeks, so he’s trying to schedule a second date with her.
“He texted me today and said to pick a day between when he gets back from vacation and when I leave, and he wants to take me out. I think that’s so sweet,” she stated. “He kind of left it up to me. But he’s still making the effort to make sure we can see each other before I leave. So I gave him a day and said, ‘Okay, I’ll pick you up at 6:30.’ He already planned the second hangout… I also love that he respects the fact that I like to be in bed early and doesn’t try to plan a 9 p.m. hangout.”
Genevieve captioned her post, “Date update!! Very unexpected but hope has been restored,” and followers filled her comments with words of love and support.
We’re so glad that Genevieve’s date went well and we’ll keep you posted if we hear anything else about this budding new romance!
