PREGNANT Georgia Harrison has revealed a controversial parenting rule for her baby when they’re born - which she hoped wouldn't "offend" her family.

The Love Island star, 30, revealed in April she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jack Stacey - 10 months into their whirlwind romance.

However, Georgia, who revealed earlier this week that her baby is due on November 5, has said she won't be letting friends and family kiss her newborn.

This is because she is concerned about her tot contracting herpes, after hearing about a family whose baby passed away.

On Instagram, the reality star - who first shot to fame on Love Island in 2017 - posted a reel about a newborn baby who died from herpes, which is also known as the "kissing disease".

Georgia wrote over the clip: "To all my friends and family don’t be offended when I tell you to back off."

The herpes virus can also be passed on if a person with a cold sore kisses a baby.

PREGNANCY NEWS

Georgia shared her exciting pregnancy news with fans in April.

Not long after, during an Instagram Q&A with fans, the reality star was asked how far along she is and replied: “16 weeks, five days.”

This means her due date should be on or around December 31.

Georgia was also asked about her baby shower plans, and replied: “I wanted to do a goth theme or Tiger King theme but my friends and family have said no.

“There’s still time though.”

Last year, Georgia returned to Love Island for the first All Stars series, hoping to find romance again.

Despite leaving the All Stars villa with Anton Danyluk, their romance quickly fizzled out and just months later she and Jack met on a dating app.

Opening up about meeting Jack and falling pregnant, Georgia told OK! Magazine: "If you don’t go to the interview, you’re not going to get the job, are you?”

“I was thinking, ‘I’m nearly 30, I really want to make an effort to meet someone’. But I was quite pessimistic about love in general.

“It took me a while to really believe that someone could treat me so well, but Jack did.

"Now here we are, living together and about to have a baby!

“I do believe the things I’ve experienced in my past were meant to lead me to where I am now.”
