There is one adage that is definitely true: "a picture is worth a thousand words" — and we found one photo of Dorit Kemsley, Boy George, Paul "PK" Kemsley, and their extended circle of friends that is worth at least that.
PK shared the throwback photo of his ex-wife (who reportedly filed for divorce earlier this month) and his longtime friend back in September 2024. It also features The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky, making it a true time capsule of when it was snapped in August 2016.
It's also proof that a lot has changed in the 9 years since they all posed together for the photo.
Where do Dorit Kemsley and Boy George stand today?
While Dorit and Boy George were once so close he even lived with the Kemsleys (as you can hear more about in the video at the top of the post), they have grown apart following Dorit's split from PK. "Boy George is firmly in PK's camp. Firmly," Dorit told Bravo producer Alex Baskin during Season 3, Episode 3 of Bravo's Hot Mic Podcast. "I'm also not fighting for people that are in his camp. It's like, let PK have whomever he needs [for support]. He should have that as should I."
She went on to share that she is more than supportive of their tight-knit bond. "I think George and I still will always be friends, but I think he's definitely firmly in PK's camp," Dorit said on the podcast episode.
What's next for Paul "PK" Kemsley and Boy George?
While Dorit and Boy George aren't as close as they once were, the legendary pop star is still tight with PK (who is not only his friend, but also his manager). PK not only often joins Boy George on the road when he tours, but the pair also often hang out as friends, including during a recent party in NYC at Planet Hollywood.
PK and Boy George are also hard at work on the upcoming biopic about Boy George's life and epic career with Culture Club. "All day script chats with our major studio..yup the movie is coming and maybe it's time we all learnt what the word icon means..." PK shared back in February 2025, offering up a small update on the project. "Just saying."
