Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen love a good date night.
Since becoming an item in 2019, The Real Housewives of Orange County couple has provided regular peeks at their romantic outings. We’ve seen everything from their fun-filled concert nights and red-carpet events to their holiday parties and cozy movie screenings, further proving that quality time is key to a long-standing relationship.
Gina and Travis continued their date night streak earlier this week — and, as per usual, they documented the evening on Instagram.
Inside Gina and Travis' romantic night out
Gina shared a short video of her sitting at a hot pot restaurant with different ingredients on the table. The clip showed a pot of simmering central broth, trays of thinly sliced meat, and a plate of mushrooms and broccoli.
Gina posted a subsequent Story of her and Travis cooking their meal at the table as the latter joked about the mushroom ingredients.
“Date night,” she captioned the footage. “Ok yea [Travis].”

Gina's ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, suffers a heart attack
Gina shared the relationship update just weeks after revealing her ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, had a heart attack. The OC mom confirmed Matt — with whom she shares three children — was hospitalized on March 15.
“Wow. We had a scary weekend! Matt (the kiddos’ dad) suffered a heart attack Saturday!” Gina wrote on Instagram. “He’s only 40 years old!!”
The post included photos of Gina at the hospital with her and Matt’s kids, Nicholas, Luca, and Sienna Kirschenheiter. There were snaps of Travis and Matt’s wife, Britt Kirschenheiter, which underscored the blended family's tight bond.
“The kids were very shaken up but thankfully we can be smiling bc he will be okay!” Gina added. “He came home today. The kids and Trav and I are so happy to have their dad back. This was too close of a call. Really puts things in perspective… For anyone out there struggling to coparent, remember you are all a family and what matters most is that you all get to be there for your kids. Tomorrow is not promised, today is a gift.”
Matt's wife, Britt, shares an update on his health recovery
A week after Matt’s hospitalization, Britt returned to Instagram to share a quick update. She expressed thanks for the doctors’ care, the outpouring of support from friends and family, “and most of all, for Matt’s strength.”
“The scariest moment of our lives turned into the biggest blessing because today, he is still here,” Britt captioned the March 22 Instagram. “This has been a wake-up call. Listen to your body, fight for your health, and don’t ignore the signs. If something feels off, don’t wait. Be your own advocate. Like his cardiologist said, we are entering a new era of life.”
