General Hospital spoilers indicate that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) could soon be on his way out of Port Charles.
Reports have been leaked that Brennan could soon be leaving the canvas, however writing out Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) new lover may need to happen quickly.
Brennan could be implicated in the unsolved mystery of who set off the incendiary device at Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Bernard) penthouse, causing a fire that injured Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). Someone does not want Sonny to know the truth, and they could easily frame Brennan to take the fall.
Anna Devane Starts To Uncover More Evidence That The Fire Was WSB-Related
It has already been discovered that the incendiary device was used by Solinski (Jeff Wolfe), who has WSB ties, and that the assassin that tried to kill Sonny in Los Angeles also was hired by someone with WSB ties. Thus, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched that someone in the WSB tried to kill Sonny.
Brennan was in L.A. when the attempt on Sonny’s life was made, which could have been seen as suspicious. Brennan showed up to help cover it up after Brick (Stephen A. Smith) saved Sonny’s life from the assassin.
Anna would continue to make ties between Brennan and the assassin and the fire, and it would not look good for Brennan. Anna would start to deduce that Brennan is the one going after Sonny!
Sonny Corinthos Cannot Ignore All The Mounting Evidence Against Jack Brennan
Anna questioning Sonny about the fire could start to arouse his suspicions. Sonny could become aware that they are looking into Brennan’s possible role in going after him, and he would start to realize that it could have been Brennan all along.
Sonny would not be able to ignore all the evidence, and realize that Brennan could be going after him. He would also deduce that it could have something to do with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) as well.
Finally, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) could discover a connection between Solinski and Brennan, and Sonny would have no choice but to take matters into his own hands. However, it is revealed that the real culprit is framing Brennan and wants him to keep their identity under wraps.
Sonny Corinthos Confronts Jack Brennan With A Gun In Hand
Now that Sonny is convinced that Brennan was trying to take him out, he confronts him. Brennan would vehemently deny that he had anything to do with the fire or the attempt on his life in L.A. Sonny would pull out a gun and try to force a confession out of him.
Meanwhile, Jason could tell Carly that it is looking more like Brennan was behind it all, and he is responsible for injuring Michael, and then trying to kill Sonny. Carly would refuse to believe it, and ask Jason if Sonny knows. Jason would respond that he does.
Carly knows that Sonny went after Brennan, and would race to stop it. Brennan would continue to deny that he had any involvement in the attempts on Sonny’s life. But Sonny would tell him to ‘fess up or he is done!
Brennan would put his hands up and again say that he didn’t do it. Carly bursts in, with Jason following just as the gun goes off! Did Sonny just shoot Brennan?
