GH Fans Want Justice: Why Has Jax Been Erased From Josslyn’s Life?

Will Jax be next to return?

Jax and Josslyn on General Hospital

Is it time this Aussie returns?

There’s been an Aussie invasion on General Hospital in the last year, except for one well-known Port Charles Australian, and fans are demanding a father-daughter reunion.

Just Jax

It’s been four years since Jax (Ingo Rademacher) was last in Port Charles after decades of drama. Jax is remembered for his relationships with Brenda (Vanessa Marcil) and Carly (Laura Wright), his estranged relationship with his villainous brother Jerry (Sebastian Roche), and being a father to his daughter Josslyn (Eden McCoy).

Now, GH viewer Martie Stephens is asking, “Why isn’t Joss talking about her dad Jax? She doesn’t talk about him or go see him. GH didn’t kill him off.”

Martie has a great point. While Rademacher was let go from GH in 2021 due to the COVID vaccine requirement and later involved in a lawsuit with ABC, what’s stopping GH from recasting the iconic character? Or at the very least, Joss mentioning her dad?

Aussie Invasion

Kax would be far from the latest Aussie to hit Port Charles. In 2024, WSB director Jack Brennan was Australian, originally played by Charles Measure (however, his recasting with Chris McKenna erased the character’s Australian accent).

The next Australian actor to join GH is The Young and the Restless alum Daniel Goddard, who’s been playing the up-to-no-good Professor Dalton.

Of course, the latest Aussie to appear on the soap is GH legend Tristan Rogers, who reprised his role for a single episode when Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) left the country to start a new life with her daughter and reunited with her long-lost dad.
