GH RECAP SHOCKER April 15: Ava Blackmails Alexis for MORE Cash — Josslyn SNUBBED by Flirty New Professor!

General Hospital Tuesday, April 15 Recap: Ava Receives Alexis’ First Payment & Wants More – Josslyn Meets Professor Dalton

General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, April 15, reveals that Ava Jerome (Maura West) received Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) first payment and wanted many more. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) also met Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard), so here’s how Tuesday’s episode played out.

Near the Quartermaine boathouse, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) found Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) practicing his violin. After Brook Lynn made a pitch about Gio performing for the Nurses Ball, he eventually got on board.

After Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) had a heart-to-heart with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about the adoption secret they were keeping, she met up with Gio and got updates on Brook Lynn producing his Nurses Ball act.

Lois was glad that Brook Lynn and Gio were working together, so he talked about something his mom always used to say about collaborators making great artists.

Back with Chase, Brook Lynn roped him into performing at the Nurses Ball as well – though he seductively talked about needing some incentives like help getting in and out of wardrobe.

While Brook Lynn and Chase kissed, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) spoke to Ava over the phone as she waited for Alexis’ arrival at the gallery. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) showed up in Ric’s room at GH, so Ric quickly turned his attention to law enforcement.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) showed up with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and grew nervous about Dante’s presence.

Once Kristina stepped out with Dante, she questioned why a detective would be investigating a car crash. Dante was actually just there on a personal visit to wish Ric well, but Kristina was still on edge.

As for Ava, she had a conversation with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), who voiced concerns about Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) moving forward with the risky surgery. However, Ava offered a gentle reminder about Kai needing to make his own choices.

Later, Trina tried to put her anxiety aside by assuring Kai that she’d have his back. Kai was pleased and made a prediction about being on the football field again in no time.

Although Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) tried to convince Alexis to proceed with having Kristina committed, Alexis just couldn’t do it. In the end, Alexis insisted she’d take it from there and headed to the gallery.

Ava got good news since Alexis was transferring money from the Cassadine estate to a Swiss bank account, which would pay back Ava’s divorce settlement in installments. The first one arrived soon after – and Alexis indicated that Ava would be paid in full by July.

That wasn’t good enough for Ava, who said the price had gone up. Since the divorce settlement belonged to her anyway, Ava wanted compensation on top of that.

If Alexis hoped to protect Kristina, Ava made it clear that she’d have to keep those payments coming. Ava eventually texted Ric some dollar signs to let him know the deal was done.

At Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) place, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) brought her home after her hospital release.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) were there for a welcome home celebration.

Nurse Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) reported for duty and immediately started bossing everyone around since Liz needed her rest.

Although Amy planned to take care of Elizabeth while she recovered, it became obvious she was going to be more trouble than she was worth. Lulu cornered Lucky in private and urged him to take care of Liz instead.

Next, Josslyn spoke to Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) before and after their environmental physics class.

After Josslyn pointed out that Emma impressed their professor with an answer earlier, Professor Dalton popped up at the Surf Lodge to admit he was indeed impressed.

Josslyn introduced herself, but Professor Dalton seemed skeptical that she could keep up after joining his class so late. Professor Dalton kept fawning all over Emma instead and urged her to apply to be his summer research assistant.

After Professor Dalton took off, Josslyn fished for more information from Emma about the research assistant applicants. Once Emma took off, Josslyn seemed frustrated now that Emma was determined to score that role for herself.
